Do you agree with my new video? Is a PERFECT DIET the same for everyone?

With so many competing “food cults” trying to tell us what to eat, it is easy to wonder if there is ONE right way to eat. I don’t believe so. I do think, though, that there are some TRUE PRINCIPLES that apply to everyone within a framework of genetic biodiversity.
What’s right for you might not be right for me. But that doesn’t mean that anything goes! Some foods are just bad, PERIOD. And some foods are great for everyone. (Unless you have compromised gut health leading to food sensitivities or outright allergies.)

    I believe that a mostly plant based diet is best, through my experiece I have found that the less animal product, sugar, soy, and gluten based grains I put in my body the better I feel. I have more energy and eliminate much easier. I am currently working toward a whole food diet, not always easy but wow can I tell a huge difference for me personally just in a day of eating whole raw foods as to when I don’t ! Green smoothies are the bomb!!!

    I agree 100 %… due to my experience of consuming any foods that are not whole foods. Since I’ve started detoxes, smoothies and all whole foods, plant base meals, I can tell the difference in my performance, mental clarity and the energy upon waking up each morning is dramatically noticeably and wonderful. It’s extremely sustainable. Especially, now that I am starting to teach Zumba again. I aspire to be one of the most successful, effective GSGlife instructors because of how it has blessed me and I want to bless others, schools, fitness/recreation centers with my testimony, passion of transitioning to a whole foods, plant base meals and Smoothie classes. Ultimately, How its changed my life with whole food understanding and its obvious appearance. It is such a privilege to be part of this team that reflects such vitality and dynamic principals. Thank you Robin for all your efforts, passion and testimonies I keep sharing with everyone.

    I’m not sure there’s such a thing as perfect – perhaps perfect for the individual, but there’s always someone it won’t suit- there’s a few folk allergic to various plants – but all in all I think Eat Food, mostly plants, not too much pretty much sums it up for me 🙂

    Hi, Robin, I agree somewhat with your video on the perfect diet. I started following your website about 3 years ago. I have been drinking green smoothies and became a vegetarian about 18 months ago. Since then my cholesterol and insulin have increased (I know right) I really haven’t felt better. I went on to dr. mercola’s website and learned about nutritional typing where there are 3 types. The protein type, carb type and mixed type. I’m sure you are familiar with this. I fell into the protein type. I am gonna try this and see how I feel with adding animal protein such as free range chicken and fish. I want to know what you think of this and how you feel about my lab tests. It must be from too many carbs? I am 52 years old and weigh 148 and I want to lose a few pounds and I can’t seem to lose any and I work out almost every day.

      Hi Trish, I tried to ascertain where any science at all underpinned Dr. Mercola’s typing, years ago, and couldn’t find any. I wonder if you could decrease fruit (sugars) in your green smoothies (insulin increase)? If you feel better eating clean animal proteins, do it. I like to get my protein from plants, but to each her own! If people eat animal protein, that’s great, but it’s alway important to eat lots of raw, organic plants. Hope you get it figured out, Trish!
