{VIDEO} 3 Ways To Make Your Coffee Healthier

Remember the Dolly Parton song “9 to 5?” I always thought the lyric “Pour myself a cup of ambition” was a clever phrase. That little kick of courage is just ONE reason people love their coffee. And I’ve got 3 ways to make your coffee healthier.
In this article:

About 64% of Americans start their day with coffee!
Is Coffee Good for You, or Not?
Two-thirds of Americans are drinking an average of almost two cups a day. And despite heavy marketing by the coffee industry about some benefits, you’re better off relegating it to occasional use rather than daily ritual.1
Coffee is, after all, among the most acid-producing substances you can ingest. Dr. Rashid Buttar, in his best-selling 9 Ways to Keep the Doctor Away, says there are 203 different acids in coffee,2 and acidic environments are the perfect disease climates.3
Non-organic coffee is also highly contaminated with herbicides and pesticide.4 Coffee beans are one of the most-sprayed crops in the world.5
And then lots of folks are further junking up their liquid ambition with awful creamers and sweeteners.6

Herbicides, preservatives, pesticides, oh my! There are a lot of bad chemicals going into the average cup of coffee. Know what’s in yours.
You’ll learn in my video below that changing creamers is one of the 3 ways to make your coffee healthier.

This is my favorite coffee on Amazon because it’s delicious, it’s organic, and it has tons of great reviews. Then my favorite liquid stevia, in English Toffee flavor, can be purchased from Amazon as well!
And here’s that link to the FREE Video Masterclass I mention in this clip. Where I’ve got SIX free video classes on how to eat healthy, super-cheap, in ways your family will love.

The best way is to roast it for yourself just before having it, delicious!!!
Yes, coconut milt makes organic coffee taste wonderful! Sometimes I add raw honey plus liquid stevia….then for more taste adventure can also add powdered organic ginger and cardamom. I read recently that mushroom powder can also be added. I have not tried this yet looking for organic. Aloha
I’ve tried both coconut and almond milk; while it may be the new trend and healthier for you, I would never use it my coffee. Besides I use very little creamer in a cup of coffee.
Good info. I often times add a pinch of baking soda to make it more alkaline vs. acidic and coconut oil for me gut health.
I was going to mention the baking soda as well. A food chemist relative told me about that…it reduces the acid!
Thank you for sharing this. I share to a lot people and I hope they open their heart to be healthy.
I really learned a lot of great tips…I am doing so much wrong. One granddaughter has an allergic reaction to peanuts..Both have allergies to glutton wheat, soy some fruits, sugar…My daughter also does not give antibiotics almost at all…unless there is bacterial infection. One granddaughter has behavior outbreaks when glutton is present in gut. Other gets eczema with eggs.
You are killing my inbox. Can I get a weekly instead of 3 per day?
Hi Mattie – Please go to unsubscribe and you can choose different options.
Thank you for this video. It tells me that I am OK with my organic coffee and coconut milk creamer. But I also use filtered water – I think that is important too.
Great tips! Especially about the Stevia. I’ve tried Stevia many times and I do NOT like the taste. I will give the liquid a try.
Well done…..thanks much
Thank you for this great information. If I’m cutting down to one cup a day I want it to be the best and healthiest!
I hoped you said more about coconut milk, like best brand etc.
Love to see how You showed to use the coconut milk from the can as your healthy creamer. Been doing this for years. My hack once you’ve opened the can is to put it into a recycled glass jar with metal lid. I got rid of plastics in my life 4 years ago, and it was so easy to switch to glass jars for storage from the old Rubbermaid or Tupperware storage containers. Coconut milk and creams are much easier to pour out of a jar too!
What do you do if you are allergic to caffiene? Any suggestions? I love my coffee but I have to have decaf.
Robyn-
The container you showed for your extra coconut milk looked like plastic! Ack! Always opt for glass especially when storing hot foods, acidic foods, or foods containing fat. Also, it might be good to mention the quality of the water used for brewing coffee.
I enjoyed the video and your tips!
Yay! Proud of myself… lol I used that exact coconut milk this morning in my organic coffee, but we make our own maple syrup in the spring, and although I use stevia for other things, in my coffee, it has to be syrup. 😉 I used to be, like 10 years ago, a creameraholic… all the different flavors taking up the door in my frig. So thankful for my eyes being opened to carageenan and all the other crap in them. Simple is best!
Thanks for the ideas.
Just remember, the Stevia substitute is not always possible for everyone to use. Many times,Stevia is bad when taking certain medications.
Overall, such good ideas with coffee and items put in it. I love coffee! Thank you.
I’d personally stay stay away from these certain sweeteners as some cause dementia/Alzheimer’s disease. In fact, diet sodas have them in it. In fact, I drink regular coffee and creamer daily. I have no medical issues with drinking regular coffee. Not all consumers are going to switch up coffee alternatives.
Thanks for the good info. I drink espresso and was wondering if you could recommend a good organic espresso brand?
Just want to let you know that there is organic decaf coffee available. It is called Swiss Water Decaffeination it is a process which uses two baths of water to remove the caffeine, no chemicals used. Purity Coffee carries both Organic regular coffee and Organic Swiss Water Decaf coffee. To make a coffee decaffeinated it needs to go through 2 baths of something. The regular decaf that is on the market goes through two baths, the first bath is chemicals and the second is water. The Swiss water method uses two baths of water. It originated in Switzerland.
Purity Coffee does toxic screening on all their coffee, they test for pesticides, mycrotoxins, contaminants and select beans free of these impurities. They also roast their coffee in small batches. Give it a try, it’s wonderful!
Thanks for that information Miriam!!
Robin didn’t mention cold brew with filtered water.
Supposedly not having the beans come
In contact w hot steaming water cuts down
Significantly on the acidity. I brew mine in a French press, cusually for
about 20 to 24 hrs. I make extra to store in fridge in
a glass jar so I have a few days supply. I never get jitters.
Robyn, Thank you for all your advice. Yikes-you put your extra coconut milk into a plastic container. I am under the impression, for health risks, plastic needs to be replaced by glass.
I live in the Akron OH area and we have a place called Mustard Seed Market and Cafe. They sell organic coffee beans including an organic, water-processed decaf french roast. It’s delicious. I brew my pot half regular, half decaf and use organic coconut milk and organic coconut sugar. Yum.
what can i do if i dont want to much caffeine but still want the benefits from coffee ?
Thank you for ALL the work you do for us. I’m too busy to research so I always appreciate your efforts, and you have a nice sincere vibe.
I live by myself and a can of cooc milk will last me a long time. How long does it stay fresh in a glass container in my reefer?
I like the mention about decafinated coffee. Can you talk more about Swiss water decaf?
Coffee from Europe has less mold allowed in it as well!!!
We have been buying and drinking only organic coffee for at least ten years. We use only organic daily creamer, but I’m going to try to switch over to coconut. We do put coconut oil in our coffee for the good fats, and also a quality collagen product to get those benefits too when we are enjoying our morning cup of Joe!
