6 Common Health Problems Nobody Talks About

After spending 18 years in my career interacting with a diverse range of people, I've noticed some health issues that often go unspoken.

As a former therapist with a keen interest in human behavior, I’ve observed the tendency for people to buy into trends and products that promise health benefits but deliver little.

This insight has driven my commitment to discussing what supplements are truly made of and addressing the less-discussed health problems that many people face.

For example, I am fascinated by why massive numbers of people believe things that are false or partly false – and suddenly will start buying, for instance, billions of dollars worth of a product that cannot help them. Due to a lot of marketing.

Nobody Talks About These Common Health Problems

Common health problems nobody talks about

In my daily interactions, people often share with me health problems that they wouldn't discuss in social settings or even with close friends.

The anonymity of the digital world provides a "safety" factor, encouraging them to open up about their uncomfortable health issues.

I’m going to share a short list of the dreadful things people write to me about. Receiving these messages motivates me to keep a steady course with my health.

Even though I’m not perfect, these two things are constants to help keep me healthy:

  1. First, I eat a whole-food, plant-based diet.
  2. Second, I detoxify twice a year – because even though I eat a healthy diet, we all, unfortunately, live in a toxic soup.

(Everything from chemtrails to that occasional travel or restaurant food, to the stuff in plastic water bottles or cups of coffee in to-go cups.)

6 Health Epidemics You Rarely Hear About

Here are six common health problems that I frequently hear about but are rarely discussed publicly.

1 — Hemorrhoids and Anal Fissures

Hemorrhoids are a diet-related illness.

Despite the significant pain they cause, sufferers don’t bring it up at the cocktail party – they just don’t go or leave early. And they don’t sit down in a chair for long.

2 — Thinning Vaginal Walls

While Roseanne Barr has brought some awareness to this issue, thinning vaginal walls are more common than many realize.

This condition can significantly impact a woman's sexual health and quality of life.

3 — Not Having Sex Again Due to Prostate Cancer

Over 90% of older men have prostate cancer. The treatment guarantees these men will never have sex again.

If you think that a 70-year-old or 80-year-old man doesn’t care about having sex, you really ought to talk with a gentleman of that age. They care. A lot.

Anyway, these guys will die WITH prostate cancer, not OF it, by and large – but many of them don’t get that information. All they get is the 7 minutes their doctor spends in the room with them. And many of them go through treatment that destroys their sexual health.

4 — Balding and Shedding Hair in Women and Men

Women balding and losing hair

Balding and excessive hair shedding are becoming more common among both men and women.

Many attempt to conceal their hair loss with extensions, hats, or salon treatments, but the emotional impact remains significant.

5 — Hormones Out of Balance for Women and Men

We have tons of men and women with hormones out of balance, and even low testosterone in young people.

I’m talking to a 20-something and a 30-something young man about their low T right now. If men have low testosterone, they may have a hard time putting weight and muscle on – or they might have a hard time losing weight.

And they may have trouble getting it up, keeping it up, or finishing.

And if I put that too delicately for you to understand what I’m saying there, I’m talking about sex.

Erectile dysfunction causes you to have issues with getting it up, keeping it up, or finishing.

I suspect the product everyone started injecting in Dec of 2020 is the culprit for the dramatic rise in endocrine problems and some of these other health-related epidemics I’m listing out, too.

6 — Strange, Unexplained Symptoms

Many people suffer from mysterious symptoms that defy diagnosis.

These can range from persistent bruising to sudden back pain. Often, doctors treat the symptoms without identifying the underlying cause, leading to frustration and ineffective treatments.

You can go to a doctor, spend a bunch of money, and no one knows precisely what’s wrong. Nobody even TRIES to figure out why it’s happening, though you may become a medical experiment, with your doctor trying a bunch of drugs and procedures that usually don’t work.

Interventions that are targeting the symptom, not the underlying problem.

From bruising easily with bruises that don’t go away to out-of-the-blue back pain and so many more. Again, these strange health problems went through the roof in 2021.

Breaking the Silence

The health issues I've discussed are often shrouded in shame, preventing open conversation. However, it is crucial to recognize and address these problems.

Every time someone confides in me about their health issues, it underscores the need for greater awareness and understanding.

It appears that the health issues I’ve just covered are actually at epidemic numbers.

Although I think these issues aren’t being studied, with so many other big issues we’re focused on, some limited evidence or data points cause me to believe we’ve seen hockey-stick growth in these health disorders.

But that list I just shared is a “day in the life” of the kinds of communications I receive.

Achieving Extraordinary Health

Mostly, when people come to me with their health issues, they are asking me what they can take.

I can’t diagnose, treat, or prescribe outside of scope, but I know from being very sick and having to get well that there’s no skipping these two steps if you want to be healthy.

The challenges of the past few years have reinforced my commitment to maintaining my health through two key practices:

  1. Eating a Whole-Food, Plant-Based Diet
  2. Detoxifying at Least Once Per Year

You have to adopt a far more whole-food, unprocessed diet. And you have to decrease your toxic load.
