Julie Eliminates Dairy, and Look What Happens!

Like me, new GSG reader Julie got rid of dairy and sugar. That change solved Cade's problem 17 years ago, and Julie's little girl's identical problem very recently. (My son was allergy-tested and was not allergic to milk. The fact is that it is mucous-forming for human beings to drink cow's milk. And the constant production of mucous in the body causes it to become stagnant, where an acidic condition occurs and viruses and bacteria flourish. Illness and many different "diagnoses" are the inevitable result.) Julie says, "You try to do what the pediatrician says." But her daughter's runny nose and cough disappeared when she found answers that directly contradicted what her pediatrician said. Check out my report on why you DON'T need dairy products HERE. Hopefully she keeps taking more steps down the path. Doctors are a fountain of knowledge about drugs. Most of them are NOT a fountain of knowledge about wellness. Or nutrition. Here's Julie's story:

    This reminds me of something I keep hoping you will address: I’ve read your blog and website thoroughly but I still am confused as to what to give my baby who is 6 months old as a supplement to breast milk. I don’t make enough milk to nurse her and I also have times when I am away from her and need to have something for others to give her in a bottle. All recipes on the web for homemade formula use raw cows milk.

    I’m so confused. Up until now our family has been mostly dairy free and I was determined that I would not give my 3rd baby any milk like I did with my other kids. But now that I need to supplement breast feeding – it seems the only alternative is raw cows milk – besides formula, which I hate.

    I know you have lots of questions from readers but I am running out of time! Please help!!

    Dear Robyn, When will you be putting out your information about alternative cancer treatment centers? What is one the best treatment center you found? They seem so good on the web and then you read that the doctor is a criminal, etc. How can anyone sort through all of this information and feel confident that they have found a center that is not just trying to bankrupt you in a time of desperate need?

      Jeanne, in the next week I will start posting, in many parts, my research at Center for New Medicine (Irvine) and Oasis of Hope (Tijuana). None of the docs I have studied with are criminals, though ANYONE, and I mean ANYONE, who threatens the (U.S. alone!) $75 billion “Big Three” industry (chemo, radiation, surgery) by doing something natural, that is more effective, will be quickly vilified as a quack. Every single one of them.

    The problems associated with cow’s milk only happen when you drink the pasturized milk. Raw milk, straight from a cow, does not cause these issues. My husband and I are lactose intolerant, but we can drink raw cow’s milk. Give us the store-bought stuff and make way as we run to the bathroom!

    Additionally, I get very mucusy (is that a word??) when I drink store-bought dairy products, but not with the raw milk products.

    You can read a lot about this on Mercola’s site (I know, gasp!), but what he says about dairy makes a lot of sense.

    We feed our daugter homemade baby formula (the Weston A Price recipe) since my milk supply was way too low and no amount of work with lactation consultants did the trick. She is doing fabulously with it. Her pediatrician has commented that she is super healthy and thriving, and is hitting all of her milestones before her peers of the same age.

    I asked myself the same question you did: if dairy is bad for you, why should I feed it to my baby. Hours and hours of research brought me to the answer that it’s not dairy itself that is evil and horrible for you (or your baby). It’s what we do to the dairy that makes it helpful or harmful to our bodies. I am a Christian, so I went to the Bible for answers as well, and saw that milk is consumed in both the Old and New Testaments, and no mention that it shouldn’t be done (though there are quite a lot of laws and guidance about other foods in the Bible). If you aren’t Christian, that doesn’t help you, but I thought I’d bring it up.

    I feel for you, as I have been there too, but have found what works really well for us. Best of luck to you, and I do encourage you to read up on the benefits of raw milk! 🙂

    Robyn, The Baby Center site reports that data indicates that dairy is not mucus forming (see link below). Is there other research data out there that counters their finding? Also, do yogurt and kefir made from raw cow’s milk cause mucus too? Thanks! Michele
