The Dinosaur Trick That Makes Kids (and Adults) Love Greens
TikTok has recently unearthed a playful, nutritious trend: "Dinosaur Time."
Inspired by herbivorous dinosaurs, this trend encourages individuals to consume raw leafy greens, like spinach, by the handful.
This simple act not only boosts daily vegetable intake but also aligns with my 9-Day Green Smoothie Challenge.
What Is Dinosaur Time?
The "Dinosaur Time" trend gained momentum when TikTok user @sahmthingsup shared a video of herself munching on raw spinach over the sink, likening the act to a herbivorous dinosaur.
The video resonated with many, highlighting the simplicity and humor of incorporating more greens into one's diet.
Embracing Greens in Every Form
I love this “Dinosaur Time” trend.
I used to pick someone from every audience (450 in 6 years!) and have them eat a whole platter of greens that goes into a quart of green smoothie!
Women quit. A child tried once and threw up. That was the end of that! Men always stuck it out, never wanted to go down in front of a crowd. (Eventually, I picked only men.)
Whether it's through the playful "Dinosaur Time" trend or the guided 9-Day Green Smoothie Challenge, increasing your intake of leafy greens is a step toward better health.
Leafy greens are one of the best things you can eat for your gut, immune system, energy, and even brain health. They're a powerhouse of nutrition – and most of us aren’t getting enough.
