{GIVEAWAY!} {VIDEO} Ouch, I sprained my ankle! My DRUG-FREE solution: Bosmeric-SR!

The evidence is mounting! Ibuprofen causes heart attacks among other awful side effects.

So when I landed funky at tennis practice running out of bounds for a shot over my left shoulder, my ankle went so far sideways that, even in tennis shoes, the skin of my ankle scraped the ground.

Robyn's sprained ankleIt swelled up instantly, as you can see. I sat on the ground, trying not to swear, and my team rushed over with ice, a golf cart to get me to the car, and of course…ibuprofen.

Ibuprofen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), is sold under brand names Advil and Motrin. It is taken by more Americans than any other drug.

Would you be interested to know how dangerous these drugs are, and what, from the natural world of medicinal plants, works just as well, with no toxic risks and side effects?

Other NSAID’s are Celebrex, Aleve, Naprosyn and Torodol. The FDA has increased warnings about these drugs this year.

I certainly understand that it’s tempting to want to get rid of a headache fast. And ibuprofen is pretty effective at that, for many people. But many people use it often, for chronic inflammation. And more evidence is revealing that, as an FDA spokesperson said recently, “there is no dose at which there is no risk.”

It turns out that ibuprofen and other NSAID’s are causing heart attacks and strokes, and it’s the cause of 16,000 documented deaths annually, as well as 100,000 emergency room visits.

It causes low stomach acid, which leads to bleeding ulcers, which of course, your doctor prescribes another medication for—each with its own set of risks and side effects.

In my research on other drug topics, I’ve come to believe that in fact, risk and adverse event statistics tend to be lower than they should because of under-reporting.

One clear example is vaccine injuries. I personally have 3 friends whose child was severely injured or killed by a vaccine. One of my friend’s babies died of SIDS 2 ½ days after her vaccine, and they never reported it, so it’s not included in VAERS statistics. Plus, according to the VAERS reporting process, the baby has to die within 48 hours, so her death wouldn’t have “counted” in the statistics, either. According to the former FDA Commissioner David Kessler in a 1993 article in the Journal of the American Medical Association, that less than 1 percent of all doctors report serious adverse reactions to prescription drugs which they prescribed.

When I was a kid, I had a life-threatening reaction to penicillin, and no one reported that, either.

It stands to reason that not everyone who had a severe reaction to a specific drug is diagnosed accurately, nor that someone made the connection to the drug, and went to the trouble of reporting it.

So, those statistics are probably far lower than the truth.

It’s becoming clear that ibuprofen is dangerous—including the buildup of it in your organs and tissues. And many of us pop those pills like candy.

I don’t even own ibuprofen, and I found a supplement years ago that is terrifically powerful as an anti-inflammatory. And it’s a superfood combination of 4 natural anti-inflammatory ingredients. It’s actually good for you!

A major study shows that the turmeric extract (curcumin) alone, one of the four ingredients, is as effective as an NSAID drug is!

This study discusses research on the effectiveness of Omega-3 essential fatty acids, pycnogenol (a pine bark), green tea, white willow bark, resveratrol, cat’s claw, and capsaicin (chili pepper), in addition to the most powerful four ingredients found all in one supplement:

A naturopathic doctor told me years ago about a supplement containing curcumin (turmeric), boswellia (frankincense), ginger, and black pepper extract. He told me it was the most miraculous supplement he’d ever prescribed his patients.

Bottle of Bosmeric-SRHe gave me a sample, and I was blown away by the results. When I recently sprained my ankle playing tennis, I used this supplement, rather than toxic drugs. It’s called Bosmeric-SR, and I want everyone to be able to get a bottle, so I set up some amazing deals for you! Here’s what the company agreed to do for you:

Turmeric root and powder
Turmeric is an Indian spice, that contains Curcumin. These ingredients have been discovered as superfoods, capable of fighting and potentially reversing inflammation and disease.

I felt no anxiety about taking Bosmeric-SR, because turmeric is an Indian spice, a superfood even, and people have used it safely for thousands of years. Curcumin is an extract of the spice, and it’s the anti-inflammatory agent.

Because inflammation is at the root of all disease, and our cells function optimally when they are not inflamed, Bosmeric-SR is the most important supplement I’ve ever used, to get rid of inflammation and prevent it as well. I take it every day.

I am very picky about supplements because I think that the vast majority are a waste of money—made cheaply, skewing hormone and vitamin/mineral balance, and made mostly of synthetic ingredients the body doesn’t use well.

And while you can feel a sprained ankle, and you can feel many inflammatory responses (like arthritis), often there is inflammation in your body that you can’t feel. Many, if not most, of us have serious issues with inflammation, whether we know it or not.

The c-reactive protein, which you can ascertain in a blood test, is one of the clearest indicators of your disease level, and disease risk, in your body. And it tends to be high in folks who eat refined sugars, wheat, beer, dairy products, and soda.

Here’s a study of how curcumin (from turmeric) helps with arthritis symptoms and underlying inflammation, and this study shows that turmeric is as effective as toxic NSAID drugs–and without the side effects and risks.

Bosmeric-SR ingredients and supplement factsThe reason I love THIS turmeric extract, though, is that it’s much more than that. Ginger is powerfully anti-inflammatory as well, and boswellia (frankincense) and black-pepper extract top the list of other natural methods to reduce inflammation. This really special blend of all four is really proprietary and special.

It’s not cheap, but it’s a great thing to have on hand, and it’s cheaper than buying all four separate supplements (and then having to open four bottles every day). It’s best, and very safe, to take this daily. But at a minimum, keep it around for when you have a headache or any inflammation you want to get rid of quickly!

Remember, you can grab a discount coupon here where you’ll get free shipping, 10% off, and a free 90-day supply of oil-based D3 supplement with your order.

This isn’t something you can find anywhere on Amazon or elsewhere–normally only health-care practitioners carry it!

You’ll also want to get rid of these foods, in your diet, if you suffer with any inflammatory condition:

Wheat / gluten (but especially wheat)
Dairy products
Refined sugar
Soda
Alcohol

You should see a quick, remarkable decrease in inflammation if you start drinking green juice or green smoothies, which are alkaline, oxygenating, nutrient-dense, and healing–plus get rid of those five foods, above.

I hope you enjoy my favorite, most efficacious supplement for inflammation, and try it first instead of a dangerous, toxic NSAID drug, when a headache or injury is causing you discomfort.

    1. Irina, Google side effects of turmeric. “Popped regularly”, 200 mgs, I believe, it too can cause bleeding. But you should check it out yourself. I wonder whether Robyn has run across this info. Perhaps she could enlighten us even better.

My husband uses Ibuprofen routinely and I’ve known that it’s has side effects. It would awesome if I could present him with something natural that’s effective and healthy for him. I avoid painkillers for the most part, but I would feel comfortable taking this. Plus I love turmeric for making curry so I’m already converted 🙂

    Thanks for the great info!

  18. My husband struggles with plantar fasciitis and takes ibuprofen regularly. I would love for him to try something with less risk.

  20. Hi, Robin,

This sounds amazing!! My husband is a disabled Vet that uses Tylenol and Motrin for his pain. This seems to be be a far better option than what he has been taking. Thanks for letting us in on this great alternative.- Annette

  22. I use turmeric everyday for my muscle pain and it works great. This has a lot of extra good stuff in it but I notice another ingredient- propylene glycol. What is your take on that chemical? I googled it and I’m not sure if I want to ingest it. Correct me if I’m wrong!

  23. I loved this article! I have a good friend who uses lots of ibuprofen and I’m excited to share this with him. Thanks so much for the healthy recommendation!

  25. Hi Robyn,

  27. I suffer with chronic fatigue syndrome and hashimotos. I don’t like taking ibuprofen if I don’t have to. Im trying to heal myself. This would be helpful to get off of ibuprofen. I’m from Clearfield , Utah.

  28. Robyn
I’ve heard the benefits of all 4 ingredients before. Last night I checked on line re risks of taking excessive amounts of turmeric because I started popping it for a pain in my toe. . Bleeding is one of the risks. I’ve been taking a formula with black pepper. Haven’t taken the boswelia or ginger with it. I would appreciate it if you would post the potential side effects of this combo drug for all of us to read. If by some miracle one of the components cancelled out the potential side effects of another, that would be wonderful to know. But in the interest of full transparency, you owe it to us your loyal fan base to educate us about potential adverse reactions as well as benefits. Thanks in advance. I look forward to your reply.

  29. I have been suffering from left side hip pain. In fact, I went to get a 2nd opinion from a orthopedic last friday and I am trying to avoid becoming a candidate for hip replacement, I am going on 48. I am I have been treating it with homeopathic methods (tumeric, etc) and would love to try this product out!

  30. I’m so glad to receive this information because I’ve been taking 2-6 ibuprofen daily for many years for fibromyalgia inflammation and different physicians have different opinions about it’s long term affects. One physician said that I’ve exceeded my “lifetime maximum”and have probably affected my kidneys, but then at a more recent doctor visit I was told there’s no such thing and that I’m fine to continue taking it as I do. All I’ve been wanting is a non-medication, equally-affective alternative that I can afford. I’ll be looking into this. Thanks much!

  31. Does this also help with the pain relieving aspect as well? Such as when you have a headache? If not, what do you recommend instead of ibuprofen?
Also, is this supplement ok to take while nursing and pregnant? (Swelling during pregnancy would be great to avoid or get rid of with this if it worked and was safe, but that is often water retention, right, so would it help?)
Thanks so much for the good information!

  49. I’m thrilled you shared this resource, Robyn. I take turmeric (with black pepper – glad to see it’s in this supp too to increase absorption) for chronic shoulder pain. Doctor keeps wanting to prescribe NSAIDs but I won’t take them. But the turmeric alone is not that effective for me – glad to see this has Boswellia also.

I was in big alligator tears driving around yesterday wishing I had my “mama” at the age of 64…lol. So I did break down and took two of these prescription Ibuprofen pills and had great nights sleep. 74. This sounds great. It appears to be the natural alternative to Tylenol I’ve been looking for. I’ll use it for my ears that seem to have lots of fluid all the time and whenever I would otherwise use Tylenol, which is not very often. Go ahead and send me a bottle in Salt Lake City.

Look forward to your thoughts. Thank you and keep up the good work. P :))

  85. This sounds like something right up my alley for my daughter. She was hit by a car about a month and a half ago while she was riding her bike home from a friends house while wearing a unicorn onesie. (another story for another time) But she has had neck and back pain and headaches since. She is doing physical therapy but I feel bad that there is nothing that we can do about the headaches. This might be something that can give her the relief that she needs without having to give her ibuprofen that I do not want to give to her.

  86. My daughters both take Naproxen every month. I would love to switch them over to something healthier. Holly Fronk, Nibley, Utah

  87. My husband lives for his ibuprofen for his back aches. I would love to have something to give him that is healthier and works better to solve the inflammation issue. Thanks for the coupon!

  89. Since I have had to deal with ‘chronic’ pain issues resulting from car accident and accompanying surgeries, I am learning that there really isn’t anything the doctor can prescribe for me that I may or may not have an adverse reaction to that is going to help me or many others I know suffering from ‘chronic’ pain.
I have done some radical things to help my body heal that goes against mainstream medicine and am always looking for better ways to improve. I’m thankful for GSS who is pioneering the way for others to learn to be well. Sue from Rochester NY

  90. Robyn, I want to THANK YOU for this timely blog about anti-inflammatory drugs and their dangers!! I had actually been taking more NSAIDS recently to help with pain from a hip problem. Three weeks ago I ended up in the ER with heart attack-like symptoms!! Could it have been the NSAIDS?? I don’t know, but I wonder!!

I saw my chiropractor today and he thought that it might be helpful for me to use a natural supplement to help with my hip inflammation. On my way home, I opened your email which was just what I needed to hear today! Thank you. I am on my way to the site to order some Bosmeric-SR!

  91. Thanks you as always for sharing such important information which can be immediately incorporated for a healthier life!

Recently I have been experiencing arthritis in my thumb joints and in some of my toes. It’s very difficult to hold objects when your thumbs are in pain. I have been wondering what I could take other than ibuprofen and here is the answer. Thanks, Robyn. Please enter me in your contest. Thanks!

I used curcumin for pain in a toothache …..and it worked great…and for infection a natural antibiotic. Far better than Advil…worked much longer…and took less….until the infectionin my tooth was gone. Thanks for sharing

  96. Would love to try this. My husband has lupus and takes Celebrex when it flares up. This sounds like a much more healthy alternative.

  97. Hi Robyn!! I would LOVE to try Bosmeric-SR! I had a myomectomy over the summer and sometimes still have to take ibuprofen for intense discomfort. I definitely will be trying this product so I can stop taking these meds! Do you know if Bosmeric-SR helps with menstrual cycle pain, too?!

  98. I would love to stop taking Motrin. I have been taking it for so long I feel it has stopped working. Bosmeric-SR may be the answer for me. Thank you for putting this before us. Never heard of this before.

  99. My husband was taking ginger and turmeric supplements daily for a month and had to stop because he developed ringing in his ears. The ringing stopped once he discontinued the supplements. Have people reported this with these supplements?

My 2 year old has 2 heart surgeries and was given ibuprofen for pain. I cringe giving it to her in thoughts of what it is doing to her liver and organs. Is this safe for children?
Also I have no time for FB, with 3 children.
Maybe report winner and offers by e-mail.

  101. Pain reliever is the only Over the counter medicine I still take. If Bosmeric SR works that would be fantastic.

  102. I love learning about replacing toxic products with natural solutions. I have learned so much & have become passionate about making better healthy choices for my family & our home. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us.

  103. Wow – so sorry about your ankle – and very happy to learn of this product! I’ve been using a Thorne product which is the turmeric part, and have found it worked wonderfully – from what I’ve been learning since, the combination in the one you recommend should do even better. Will absolutely be looking into it. Thanks for the information! (And hoping you’re all better by now, too!)

  104. Thank you for the opportunity to win this. I choose not to have Facebook, so how will I know if I’m lucky enough to be one of the winners?

  105. This would be great for my husband. He has numerous ongoing health issues, diabetes, advanced neuropathy, colorectal cancer, Parkinson’s disease, rheumatoid arthritis, heart disease, etc,. He is in almost constant pain, throughout his body. He dislikes taking painkillers, as he has seen friends, become addicted to them. A natural, non addictive painkiller, with no side effects, he would take. To win this to try it, would be life changing. If it really works, I would sacrifice something else, to afford the product. Thank for this wonderful information!

Wondering what the recommended dosage is that most folks are taking for help with inflamation..about a gram or so a day if it has ingredients like black pepper seed to help with absorption?

I have arthritis in my hip and spine along with painful bursitis at times. I can’t say how many times I take ibuprofen a day just to make myself feel better about doing something about the pain. But unfortunately it does not work. I would love to have a natural method.

Looks like my husband is not alone among this group. Ibuprofen is not candy for him, but he takes it whenever he gets a headache. I would very much prefer an alternative for him.

Would love to try this to see if it helps my husbands mystery illness! Ibuprofen is the ONLY thing that we’ve found to keep the pain in his wrist at bay. If this works, that would be so amazing!

  120. I need this to work, I have plantar fasciitis in my left foot. I have been taking ibuprofen and want something safer.
    Lynn, Indiana.

  121. Hi Robyn! My husband almost died (twice) due to a burst intestine, and he’s been taking ibuprofen almost every day since his surgeries. I have given him all kinds of herbal alternatives (including turmeric and ginger) but they just haven’t done the trick. I’ve been so concerned about what that’s doing to his body! We’ll certainly try this supplement…maybe this is the one that will do the trick for him. Thanks! 🙂

  128. This is what I have been looking for !!!
I have used arnica both topically and in supplement form, and had some relief, but for very painful injuries like my husband’s back injury from being rear ended, he could really have used a stronger alternative.
So glad to have more tools!

  129. I am so excited to learn about this product, as I believe it will help my husband with his pain and inflammation issues in his feet and ankles. When the warnings came out for NSAIDS this year, my husband (an RN) said “What will I eat for breakfast now?” …we NEED an effective alternative!

  133. Sheri from San Jacinto, California

My friend has been taking turmeric for years for her broken hip. I just recently started eating ginger candy. I have hearing loss. One doctor told me my eustacion tubes had a problem that did not allow my eardrum to pressurize correctly. I believe it is an inflammation issue. After eating this ginger candy for a few weeks, my ear pops and I hear much better!

I am very interested to see how well this works!

    Thank you!

  134. SallyAnn from Binghamton, NY

My husband has been on prescription meds for 10 years from a back injury. I would love to try this and see if it would get him off them.

  135. Thank you so much for this information. My 12 year old daughter has frequent headaches, and I would feel much better giving her this than ibuprofen….and the rest of the family as well.

    Wake Forest, NC

  136. I would love to try this out for my 11 year old daughter, who suffers from headaches often due to anxiety. Thanks for the info, Robin!

  137. What would you use for fever? I know I can’t take NSAIDS and have been drinking golden milk for a couple of years now. I had a fever of 102 last winter and tried 1 Ibuprofen and my BP shot up. I don’t like to take Tylenol either. I have autoimmune hepatitis.

  138. Thanks Robin for all you do and your willingness to share! I am always looking for natural options to maintain optimal health!

  139. I have struggled for years with RA and the doctor’s prescribing medication after medication for my inflammation and pain. I have taking anything but when you are in so much pain you tended to seek out relief. I would LOVE to try something with less side affects and more relief. This sounds like t might be my answer. Sherri – Sweet Idaho

  140. I love the way you care to share the things that help you the most. I look forward to trying this because I refuse to take ibprofrin.

  141. Brook -Cheraw, South Carolina

I am so happy I found this site! I have ordered some of the supplements you recommended and started drinking my green smoothies! I am excited about healing my body naturally!

  142. I would love for my son who has juvenile diabetes and takes a lot of ibuprofen for his back to try this. I am very concerned about his health since he is 39 years old and has 8 children.

  143. A friend of my mother just died from complications of NSAIDS (Stevens-Johnson syndrome) Mom went to the wake Monday. It’s ironic and fitting that this is your post today. Advil will now be eliminated from my cabinet!! I will research on my own, but can children take this supplement? I have some athletic boys with Osgood-Schlatter disease who do require an ibuprofen on occasion when it gets to the point of swelling and intolerable pain. Thanks for your knowledge and commitment to life and a healthy being 🙂

I am very interested in the product. Both my husband and I have arthritis, but have been advised to not depend on aspirin and other popular pain relievers.

  145. I am a distance runner and have been warned not to take ibuprofen just prior to running because it could cause problems! I am so looking forward to trying this!

    Southfield, MI

  146. I stopped taking ibuprofen years ago. I used to live on it, which is sad bc I was so young. But after having a baby to avoid oxycodone I took it. Whenever I have had pain I have been using arnica but it doesn’t do quite enough. And I also have needed something for my 5 year old and the arnica wasn’t enough. Thank you for recommending this product.

  147. yay thanks for the giveaway!! Hope I win! My best friend just entered the hospital with a bleeding ulcer and i wonder if the ibuprofen had anything to do with it?

  148. I just damaged tendons in my arm last night. I sure could use some of this right now because my doctor is having me take aleve twice a day for 5 days to help with the swelling. I’d rather take something natural for it.

  149. I take at least six Ibuprofen daily for pain and inflammation caused by rheumatoid arthritis. I have been searching for years for something that can replace the Ibuprofen, something natural that will not cause the side effects. I’m hoping this is it.

  150. I definatly want to try this, I used to have bad joint pain and I used to take a ridiculous amount of Aleve just to function throughout the day, and I still use it when I need it. So to know there is an alternative is wonderful.

  151. After passing out from the excessive loss of blood due to burning 3 holes in my stomach from using too much motrin, I ended up in the hospital where I received 3 units of blood. As you might expect, this was a “wake up” call for me. I have religiously avoided using NSAIDs ever since then. This product sounds wonderful. Thanks for the information. John in Idaho.

  152. I take a lot of ibuprofen for pain from severely cracked heels and my fingertips cracking. I’ve been very concerned about the amount I take so this sounds like a great alterative.

  153. Elizabeth Steinweg, Vancouver, WA
I am excited to try this~ I am a myofascial release therapist and have been recommending Zyflamend Caps for my clients. It works quite well but if this is more effective, than it will be my new one to recommend! Thanks for your testimony! Love your videos and emails! I’ve been sharing them with everyone!

  154. My husband and I take turmeric every day. He has r- arthritis, and I use it for inflammation due to auto immune disorder. He still takes ibprophin nearly every night, I would love for him to try something that actually works for him.

  155. My daughter is a former softball player and has taken ibuprofen WAY too many times. It is the go to for any aches and pains. I am going to try this and get her off of ibuprofen. Thank you so much for this information!

  156. What a great giveaway. I’m trying to take less advil when I get cramps monthly, which means I end up feeling the pain. This sounds like it would be a natural helpful aid.

Enjoy the rest of your run. Thanks for the info, looking forward to trying Bosmeric-SR

  160. With chronic neck, shoulder, and back pain from a car accident years ago, this product may be an answer I’ve been searching

  161. I’ve been using another brand you had recommended a few years back, thanks for a new option to try! Love that it has frankincense and ginger!

  162. 1. Your Shrek ankle is really beautiful.
    2. I have always wondered if the 800 mg Ibuprofen I took in 2007 (had never taken that strength before, but I had BAD cramps) the subsequent visit to the ER that night since my heart had been racing all day, the ridiculous misdiagnosis of A-fib by the ER doc who then sent me home to “just call your cardiologist next week” had anything to do with why I was FINE, perfectly FINE one day, and the next day my world fell apart with something the doctors were never able to figure out (but they did so kindly slap a “panic disorder” label on me so that I’d have a pill to take and a diagnosis to make me feel better….which it did not. I was and am and always have been a “natural” girl. I cured as many things naturally if I knew how, but I had no idea that ibuprofen (and all the junk that followed) would still have me bedridden 9 years later. It’s nuts.
    3. You’d better believe I am buying that stuff, and forwarding this post and throwing out our advil, aleve and ibuprofen.
    4. I didn’t see Tylenol/Acetomiaphin mentioned in the post. (I’m sure you know it’s in norco, vicodin, percocet and maybe others.) If someone is taking those for some reason, they can do a Cold Water Extraction to remove the tylenol from those drugs. Better if you don’t have to take anything. But for some it may be the first step to a less toxic body. CWE is on youtube and my husband has done that for me. It’s a pain, pun intended, but worth it for sure.
    5. I just found out about 1 amazing STRONG pain reliever known as Healer’s Relief. It is a TCM product. Also, I am trying a STRONG CBD oil from the UK. I tried the one here on Amazon and I couldn’t take it due to the carrier oil. (You know CBD is legal in all 50 states now and can be ordered online. I’m working with CBD Brothers in UK. They are sending me free sample first. And lastly two different “morphine bombs” from DoTerra or Young Living. For people dealing with chronic pain, in order to get well, have to get off toxic meds. And even on pharmaceuticals, you have to rotate or they stop working. I’m hoping these 3 will produce good results. I already will confirm Healer’s Relief is very good.
    6. I hate to see you sick in any way, but I sure do like learning the things you then remember to tell us!!!
    7. xoxo
    Cindy

    1. for anyone reading the comment I wrote above, I currently have severe chronic pain and am taking (despise it, but in my very rare/unique situation I haven’t found another option yet) hydrocodone and 2 different benzos that basically mute the CNS. My only point being that 4-5 grams of Healer’s Relief equals about 40 mg of hydrocodone. I would think any TCM doctor would be able to supply it. I did find out about mine through a Kratom referral. The govn’t just moved to make Kratom illegal which is so ridiculous. Those who took it, including myself, were far better off on that —a simple leaf from the Kratom Tree found all over the place in Thailand, Cambodia, etc–than on pharmaceuticals. Of course if they succeed in making Kratom illegal, the pharmaceutical industry does stand to profit nicely.

  163. I have chronic back & knee pain and I’m not to the point of having to switch back & forth between Advil & Aleve to alleviate some of the pain, but it takes 4 Advil or 3 Aleve at a time to do any good 🙁

  164. I don’t like taking NSAIDS but when I get bad headaches nothing else natural that I have tried works. If this supplement would work for me I would be forever grateful!

  165. This sounds like a wonderful product. I was in a car accident over ten years ago, and now have severe chronic pain. My neck was fused but my back cannot be fixed, so I live on pain killers which I hate taking, but I am hoping this will truly help me. Pain changes everything in your life. Thank you for sharing this new product, and for being so generous and giving us the discount instead of you getting a 20% commission, wow that was so nice. Hope your ankle get better soon too. Have a Great Day!

  166. Thanks for another natural product. I used to pop 4-6 IB for back pain. Now I like Arnica Montana. Open to new natural relief.

    1. Hi Jan, if you have time, could you read my long post (it will stand out from the rest bc of length!). I am stuck on pain meds, and I am having an awful time finding a way out. I knew they were bad when I started them, but I do have a VERY rare condition that is so excruciatingly painful (it’s not exactly pain–it’s more like torment and suffering and it’s 24/7 AND I cannot sleep at all if I can feel it. Only thing I’ve found to work is hydrocodone (extended release, liquid, no tylenol in it). I have gone hundreds of hours without sleep due to the condition. Nearly died a few years ago from sleep deprivation. Meds weren’t working then.) I am wondering if this Arnica you take is something that might work for me. But I’ve bought so many pain meds (natural) that end up not working….. But back pain is usually pretty bad and that’s a lot of ibuprofen, so I just thought maybe it might work for me. Could you comment on my post IF YOU HAVE TIME with your opinion. Thanks! Cindy

  167. I would love to win this product! I have heard a lot about all 4 ingredients for fighting inflamation. Glad to find out about this product!

  169. You probably have an article about why you recommend getting rid of the 5 foods/drinks in your life. I’m surprised about the wheat. I’ve always been told how great wheat is for you. I know some people need to be gluten free because they have severe sensitivities to it, but I would think you WOULD include wheat with all the healthy foods and herbs and spices you recommend. Please fill me in. Thank you.

Also, I don’t like popping any kind of pill, vitamin or otherwise. Although, I do and it is usually exceeding (or a generic for it), I know I should be looking into natural remedies. I am thinking once it’s in pill form it’s just not a natural remedy any more. So my question is if I take turmeric, how do I get the cur cumin extracted. Same thing with the black pepper extract BioPerine, Boswellin, and what part of the Ginger plant? I noticed it’s manufactured in New Mexico on possibly an Indian Reservation. I know they want to sell their product, but could you, if you know, get precise amounts and ways of extracting etc.? I’m seriously starting out trying to be all natural from foods, not pills. Thank you.

      1. That is such an interesting question. I’m chiming in, just to hear the answer if there is one. I would think one would have to talk to the people who actually make the pills (not the company representing them) and that sounds next to impossible to me. I would also think though that if you just put fresh turmeric, ginger, black pepper (extract oil or just black pepper) and a drop or two of frankincense in your daily smoothie, you’d achieve the same thing in its all natural (and synergistic) food form. I put fresh turmeric and ginger and pepper in my smoothies daily. Robyn said she takes those anti-inflammatories daily, just to keep inflammation in the body down. If you have them on hand for that purpose, and you twist your ankle, you can just make a concentrated tea with as much as you need of each ingredient to get the pain relief you need :). All the best, Cindy

    1. Not for long you don’t!!! I can’t wait to see you healed!!!! I commented earlier, so I just saw yours come in and thought I’d say “hi”! I’m rooting for you 🙂 Cindy

  170. I’m Elizabeth from Sacramento, Ca…i woukd live ti win this product not only for me but I leave with someone who is always experiencing inflammation issues and constantly taking Ibuprofen.

  171. I just checked the ingredients and this has corn starch in it as a filler. Corn is a known cross reactant and if you are trying to be gluten free then you should get off corn and rice as well. I didn’t know this but my functional medicine doctor told me, and since going corn and rice free I have seen a dramatic reduction in my inflammation and joint pain.

  172. It’s so good to know there is alternatives for people like me dealing with fibromyalgia. So far, everything that you have mentioned and I have tried worked in an excellent way. Thanks Robin.

My daughter is a competitive athlete and is in need of a healthy anti inflammatory. We are all so guilty of quickly popping a pill to make the pain go away, but at what cost. This exact topic has been weighing very heavily on my heart. Thanks for the great info.

Wow, my husband suffers from headaches and my friend from migraines… i have inflammation in general that causes aches in my wrists.

  176. I’m really happy to hear about this supplement. I’ve been dealing with shoulder issues (both) for a few months. Showed up out of the blue. I eat really healthy, but know this is inflammation, so I also know there is more I can do. I’ve been putting together a list of supplements to begin taking or to have on hand for “as needed” – this is going on the list!

  177. Taking Bosmeric-SR a supplement to use instead of taking Ibuprofen for pain relief without risking a heart attack and strokes and other side effects, and you are giving away one free, count me in!

  178. I would love to find something to take instead of ibuprofen. I take them daily unfortunately for chronic pain from autoimmune diseases which I have.

  179. Hi there…I am Virginia Edwards in Livermore, CA. I trust in anything that Green Smoothie Girl aka Robyn Openshaw promotes. I would love to try this product. I take an occasional anti-inflammatory called Meloxican, and I’m sure its NOT good for me. I try to endure pain first, but if I get little tears and start to beg for my mama because it hurts so bad, I take one. Mama left me when I was 19-years-old from Pancreatic cancer in the 70’s. Have a happy day!

  180. 29 years with Fibromyalgia, CFIDS & Hypothyroidism—the combination of these three can be a recipe for the perfect storm for a whoooole lot of inflammation, pain and much more. This supplement sounds like it has the potential for some very welcome help & relief AND with no harmful side effects short term or long term…That is so important to me. Thanks so much for caring enough to share what you have earnestly, diligently and passionately studied, experienced, learned and are living!

I would LOVE to win a free supply! My husband takes way to many ibuprofen for pain. He seems to think it is better than anything else out there. Please let him see there is a healthy alternative.
    Thanks!

I have an arthritic ankle- swollen like your injured one- and I’m hoping this will help.
    Thanks for offering this!

  188. You are doing a great thing! People need to hear more about the great alternatives to drugs. I’m from a small town (Paris, IL) , but I love getting new & easy ideas to incorporate healthy eating into my diet. Also, I have a daughter with crohn’s disease, so I’m always looking for new ideas to help her.

  189. My lower back and left hip are hurting after falling at the gym. I would like to try this. I do not take any meds even when in pain. I live in Port St. Lucie FL and follow you!!

I’ve been following you since about 2008…ish? I bought my Blendtec from your website back then. Love my copy of the whole foods cookbook still!

  191. This sounds wonderful but it’s crazy expensive for the inexpensive ingredients. Thanks for all your informative posts. Your 12 steps course is the best, just started the Rejuvelac this week – putting it in our smoothies.

  192. Cathy, Bluffton, SC – I am always looking for more natural solutions to injuries, inflammation. I turned my ankle in May and it took a long time for the swelling to go down. I wish I’d known about curcumin then, and the combination of curcumin with boswellia sounds great.

  193. Terrellee Hodges from La Crescenta CA! Just got my order 2 days ago. Thought I’d give it a try and I love them. Have foot pain and it’s already decreased!!

Being in the work comp arena I see doctors prescribing NSAIDS all the time and with high dosages. Thank you for giving people a better way to manage pain and inflammation!
