Chronic Constipation . . . part 6 of 9 on ELIMINATION

You always hear about how when Elvis and John Wayne were autopsied, they had 10 or 20 lbs. of impacted fecal material in their digestive tract due to chronic constipation.   I have no idea if that’s urban legend.

Your M.D. scoffs at the idea of cleansing, at the idea that there’s a buildup of hardened mucoid plaque in the digestive tract from eating meat and processed food and chemicals?   Or if you look around online, you can find an M.D. or two saying this doesn’t happen, buildup of mucoid plaque.   That’s astonishing to me.   Having experienced it for myself, this is not something I have to take on faith after purely academic study, and you can see for yourself.   Look at the inside of a bunch of people’s colons, both diseased and healthy, on Dr. Shinya’s video clip:

Dr. Bernard Jensen worked on tens of thousands of human colons.   He once measured three gallons of hard, toxic material eliminated from one person, in one cleansing treatment.   You eliminate every day, you say?   Your doctor and the medical textbooks (including pediatrics’) say that one bowel movement every five days is fine, and normal?   Jensen says he knew a woman who eliminated five times a day but when he autopsied her after her death, the opening through her colon was the diameter of a pencil, even though the diameter of the vessel itself was 9 inches.

It’s not what’s coming out that’s a problem.   It’s what’s staying IN.

At the end of my 21-day cleanse, doing daily home colonics, I went to a professional for the last two days of colonics.   Dolly Hansen (Orem, Utah) is the wife of Dr. DeLynn Hansen.   She has a $20K machine and training to oxygenate the water to kill parasites the first day, so they will be dead and ready to eliminate the second day of colonics.   Her huge machine allows the water being eliminated to pass through a large glass tube, and she can stop the flow water at any time.   So, I saw a 5-inch parasite come out of me, because she stopped the water to show me.   Dolly has a parasite a few feet long in a jar that she saved, from herself.   My friend C. is a thin, beautiful, Barbie lookalike and saw a 6-inch parasite leave her body in that tube.

Fortunately, through cleansing and clean eating, I have been parasite free for years.   When I am blood tested, my blood is not perfect, but it does not contain any parasites, and I’m told that is very rare.   (Avoiding meat is key in this.)   When all putrefaction is removed from the body, and we eat a plant-based, whole-foods diet, we are no longer breeding grounds for bacteria, fungus, molds, and viruses.

This is not a recommendation of any specific cleansing plan for YOU, but rather a general opinion that having a clean colon leads to improved health.   Consult your health care professional about any cleanse you may be considering.

  1. Who is Dolly Hansen, I can’t find her online. She’s a professional without a website? I am interested in finding out more, could you give me any info or website?

  2. I don’t know because it’s been years, but you might try the chiropractic office of her husband, DeLynn Hansen (Orem, Utah) to find her. She works out of her home, and I seriously doubt she has a web site.

  3. I can’t speak for all cleanses, but some of them that I’ve seen are not in the same league with, for instance, Arise & Shine. There’s a network marketing company that has a “cleanse” that involves a week of eating a lot of protein bars and shakes. That is not a colon cleanse. It may give your body a break from junk food, and therefore people may feel better, but it’s not giving your body a break from digestion and providing it with raw materials to loosen mucoid plaque and sweep the digestive tract. “Cleanse” can mean so many things, and in this blog I’m talking about colon cleanses.

If you want to cleanse your kidneys and liver, you can do several days (or longer) of the Master Cleanse (add to 3+ quarts of water lemon juice, cayenne, real maple syrup, and I also add my dehydrated greens).

  4. You can often locate people who do colonics by asking the veteran employees of health food stores in your area. Ask the people who do the colonics about how they do it—I don’t know what Dolly’s machine is called, but she told me that the machine and training cost her $20K. It’s pretty huge. Sorry I don’t know more. Hopefully you have some clues, though, and let readers here know if you learn more.

  5. I’m totally freaked out. . .and wondering if you can conquer the parasites without seeking a professional? I’m certain this is our problem.

How long do you recommend someone do a cleanse and are there any cheaper options to the arise and shine($99 for 7days)?

  6. sorry, you answered the arise and shine question while I was typing.

very interesting stuff. I’d like to have less interesting stuff in my digestive tract, thank you very much.

  7. Arise and Shine has two series of herbs that you can take AFTER you’re done with the cleanse, called Worm Squirm I and Worm Squirm II (you take them consecutively). They really work. You can certainly do that without going the professional colonics route. But I *do* recommend you do home colonics during the cleanse–don’t skip that, as it’s maybe the most important part.

Unfortunately Worm Squirm will add to rather than take away from the cost! It’s $99 for 7 days, but (maybe the price has gone up since I did it) I spent about $200 for the whole 20-21 days I did the cleanse. Worth saving up for. I’ve looked at the regimen of some other cleanses and just think you’re getting the job 1/3 done. That’s not to say that there aren’t ANY that are as good–I just haven’t seen/experienced any.

The Herbal Nutrition in A&S is one of my favorite parts because I was so nutritionally supported through the whole thing–couldn’t believe it. A friend of mine (thin, healthy from all appearances) did another cleanse and felt like she was dying–got blue bruises just from sitting on the toilet, became very anemic, zero energy to function. She quit before anything started coming out. (She’s the one who saw the 6-inch parasite come out of her during a professional colonic, though.) I assume the difference is the Herbal Nutrition product (and maybe some underlying health issues she had)–everything you need while you’re not consuming much calorically. I was not eating a super-healthy diet back when I did the cleanse the first time, and I weighed 20 lbs. more than I do now—so my overall excellent health isn’t why I had such a great experience.

And GS is a great thing to eat while you’re cleansing!

  8. My daughter has been severely disabled due to MS and needs colonics several times a week to maintaine proper health. We use Uli M. Braum Internal Balance 435-660-1180. She is located in two offices and has certifies staff was well. One is In the basement next right to Good Earth in Orem and also works with Doctor Wright at James Town Square in Provo 3311 N University Ave STe 100 Provo UT 84604

  9. Wait-are we talking about like, worms? I guess I’m not understanding-i thought worms in the intestines only happened in South America–and i thought they made you lose weight? I thnk i might pass out if i saw a worm coming out of my colon…. also, so you’re saying the Arise & Shine IS a good one, or not?

  10. I have been in the pregnancy/lactation zone for about 4 years now and will continue to be there for a few more years. I am so grossed out by the thought of parasites in me (and my family!). I have been a green smoothie girl for 7 months now and feel like my intestinal tract is much happier. BUT how can I get rid of parasites if I am still pregnant/lactating?

I just read Food Revolution (John Robbins) and Eat to Live (Joel Fuhrman). The China Study is next but the conclusions about animal products are overwhelming! I am soooooo done with meat and milk. Reading this post further confirmed that. But I still have a freezerful of organic beef. Ugh! What am I going to do with all that meat!

  11. I was desperate to do a cleanse during the 8 years I was pregnant and nursing. But any credible expert on cleansing will tell you not to undertake it as an expectant/nursing mom because the toxins and even metals leaving your body will flow through your bloodstream, the baby’s developing body, and/or your breast milk.

You get rid of parasites by starving them. They love the fermentations of sugar/processed food, and meat/dairy. And if you have a couple months in between weaning a baby and getting pregnant with another, you can jump on that opportunity to cleanse if you want. A few 12 Steppers have told me they prepared their bodies for pregnancy this way–brilliant!

Feed the beef to carnivorous company when they come over? (haha)

  12. I was just wondering if anyone has heard about Dr.Natura and if you have what do you think about their clense. Would you recommend it? Thanks

  13. Robyn,

I am so glad to see your web sites and videos. We are on our 2nd week of green smoothies. I thought I would be running to the bathroom more, but instead it has been less! I don’t believe that I am getting too much fiber because our family of 6 is sharing 2 qts of smoothie once a day right now. Any thoughts on this?

Also, concerning parasites….we are eating raw garlic everyday to help with that as well as all the other wonderful things that garlic does.

  14. My wife Dolly can be reached for colonics. Dolly Hansen, colonhydrotherapist: 801-358-4623.

Where many people only give their clients a 45 minute colonic, Dolly gives her clients a full 2 hour time block. The problem with 45 mintues, about the time things sofen up and start coming out, other colonhydrotherapists quit the session. Dolly refuses to cut corners like others who feel they can make twice as much money in the 2 hours by having 2 people scheduled. Dolly charges $60. per session if you bring her cash.

  15. I realize this is a very old post but wondered if Dolly still did colonics for people and how to reach her? If she is not in business who can you recommend?

  16. I guess I don’t have any mucoidal plaque because I have had three colonoscopies (since my family has a strong family history of colon cancer) and my colon has always looked nice and clean and smooth in the pics of my colon.
