Easiest Starter Green Smoothie

Anyone will enjoy this easy first-timer’s concoction, including children and those with finicky tastes!

1 quart

  • 2 - 3 cups water and ice mixture
  • 5 - 6 large handfuls spinach
  • 1 banana (preferably frozen in chunks)
  • 2 Cups mixed berries fresh or frozen
  • 1 peach, pear, orange, or apple
  • 2 Tbsp. GSG Sprouted Flax or Sprouted TriOmega Superfood (optional)
  • 1 serving GSG Protein Powder, any flavor (optional)

  1. Blend all until very smooth. 

  2. Pour in glasses and enjoy immediately, or refrigerate for up to 48 hours (shake well before serving). 

One of my favorite things about the Easiest Starter Green Smoothie is how versatile the recipe is. The options of using peach, pear, orange or apple is more than for flavor. Each of these fruits boasts a wealth of health benefits. You can switch up the ingredients based on how your feeling! If you’re missing out on your vitamins C, A, and E, then use the peach! Oranges, of course, are famous for their high count in vitamin C, but they’re also great for high blood pressure and healthy skin. Pears and apples, so similar in benefits, are great for a diabetic’s diet as well as weight loss. They’re also fat free and cholesterol free. Green smoothies can change based on which fruit you choose, but the health benefits for the base ingredients are a treasure trove of health. Bananas are high in potassium, spinach is a famous super food, and mixed berries are a wonder. The berries are high in fiber, fight inflammation, are loaded with antioxidants, and improve blood sugar. The Easiest Starter Green Smoothie is a classic, and so easy!
