Winter Warmer 15-Bean Soup


Winter Warmer 15-Bean Veggie Soup

This hearty soup will keep you and your family warm and satisfied during the winter months

Course Soup

  • 1 20-oz. pkg "15 Bean Soup" discard seasoning packet
  • 2 qts filtered water
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 3-4 cloves garlic, sliced or grated
  • 1 stalk celery, sliced
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli stalks
  • 1 small potato, cubed
  • 1/4 head cabbage purple for more antioxidants
  • 1 can diced tomatoes


  • 3 tsp chopped parsley
  • 2+ tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp Himalayan sea salt
  • 1 tsp pepper

  1. Soak beans overnight according to package directions

  2. Drain and rinse the beans twice the next morning

  3. Bring beans and water to a boil and simmer, uncovered, for 2 hours

  4. Add sliced veggies and seasonings and summer for another hour, uncovered
