Ep. 319: Why Has Health Insurance Gotten So Awful? + What To Do About It!

Vibe with Robyn Openshaw. Why has health insurance gotten so awful? + What to do about it!

I have been fascinated by the amazing business model of Crowd Health, which puts you in a membership with 8,000 other health-minded people, and they crowd-fund all your healthcare needs.

In 3 years, they’ve 100% funded all but 6 of the 10,000 medical bills submitted to them!

I hadn’t joined until after this class, myself, this being my third conversation with this company–but I am now a member and LOVE the idea that my monthly contribution is funding the healthcare needs of other families, and by doing so, mine would be covered in the event of a crisis.

Good, old-fashioned American values extricating us to the overpriced, insanely bureaucratic current medical system. (And backed by Bitcoin, rather than the failing dollar.) This is an important topic, enjoy!

Super helpful info! I had Liberty H althshare a few years in lieu of high COBRA as I retired early after a workplace knee injury.
    If I wasn’t over 65, I would use this!

Listened to 2/3rds so far, and gather that there’s a monthly membership fee plus responding to the requests that come up. Is that added contribution a set amount, or is it a self-guided amount? Would like to know what that amount might be, since it sounds like an ongoing expense to be considered.
