Barbara's Make-Ahead Smoothie Mix
This easy make-ahead smoothie mix can be prepared ahead of time and popped into the freezer! Parents are happy because kids get 15 servings of raw greens and fruits, nuts, good protein and fats; kids are happy because it’s sweet enough for their palate!
- 2 cups water
- 1/4 whole organic lemon with rind
- 1-2 leaves kale
- 1-2 leaves collard greens
- 1 leaf chard
- 2 handfuls spinach
- 2 cups fruit
- 2 squirts liquid stevia
Add all ingredients except water to gallon-sized freezer bag
Freeze for up to two weeks
Add contents of freezer bag to blender, combine water. Blend thoroughly to enjoy.
Optional: if desired before blending, add any handful of nuts, a spoonful of your favorite nut butter, or a scoop of your favorite protein powder.
