Great interview. I only wish there were more direct responses to your very direct questions or comments.
I appreciate that this doctor says she isn't taking any compensation for promoting this drug, and I get the feeling she's being authentic and transparent. I sort of feel you put her on the spot, but I understand where you were coming from (she may not have had this podcast discussion with you had you submitted more information to her first). I was impressed with both of you in trying to get to the nitty gritty truth. What's scary about all this is that I've got some products on my shelf that say peptides and collagen etc. and those ingredients are probably NOT real. They're probably synthetic. And why even bother eating organic when, as you rightly pointed out, the pesticide trucks drive by and boom, we're breathing all that poison in. I agree with her that dosages matter (as we still drink a bit of alcohol and I use it when I make herbal tinctures). Thankfully, my husband and I have moved back to a plant-based diet (raw vegan, cooked vegan, and some vegetarian because I do love cheese and butter but can only tolerate a small amount once a week or so). We quit eating eggs due to the cost, bird flu, etc. We know the companies will lie about what they do/don't do to their animals. We're not doctors either, but we are researchers with analytical minds. I appreciate that she shut down her practice. We do see an integrative physician (now that we live in New Hampshire). My husband is still on five (5) Pharma drugs for high blood pressure and after suffering an ischemic stroke in October 2022. He's older and did not want to risk going off all meds after the stroke (he had been off his meds for more than a year at the start of Covid due to supply chain issues and not being able to get his meds was actually raising his blood pressure more), and we think that all contributed to his stroke–plus dealing with two hurricanes in Florida. (As you may know, I wrote a holistic health book in 2018, which is in its 2nd edition: Have Yourself A Wholly Vibrant Life: Reversing Asthma and Other Chronic Illness Naturally. It's on Amazon.)
HI Sheila, and thank you so much for your thoughts! We will also take a look at your book!
