When you generate a referral, the commission appears in the Stats & Earnings immediately. Sometimes a commission you are expecting will not appear, and sometimes a commission may change prior to the payout. There are a few reasons for this.

To minimize clawbacks, we payout commissions after the period during which most refunds occur. This allows most order issues to be resolved prior to payout.
The GSG Affiliate Program tracks commissions on a first-referral basis. This means the first affiliate to generate a referral from a buyer will receive all future commissions for that buyer's orders. This is designed for two reasons. First, it provides incentive for affiliates to bring new customers to GSG. Second, it rewards affiliates for introducing new customers to GSG.
Accounts can show this notice for three reasons.

Accounts not displaying the Stats & Earnings button may have been deactivated. This happens when no referrals have been generated for 4 months. If your account was just created, it may not be done setting up. Log out and try later.

An affiliate link is a URL that includes a unique code identifying an affiliate. When a customer clicks your affiliate link, our program knows to attribute commissions for resulting orders to you.
Swipe Copy is sample content about GSG products and programs for you to use to promote our products and programs. We provide swipe copy emails, Tweets, and Facebook posts. Swipe copy may have blanks for you to fill in. Copy and paste the swipe copy. Customize swipe copy to suite your audience.
Swipe Images are GSG-branded images for you to use to promote our products and programs. We provide swipe images for email and social media. Swipe images do not contain your affiliate link. You can add your affiliate link to the images you use in your promotions.

When you recruit other affiliates to join the GSG Affiliate Program, you are rewarded by earning commissions on their referrals. These are called tier 2 commissions.
How to Recruit Affiliates
Share your involvement in the GSG Affiliate Program with friends or professionals who have audiences that would be interested in GSG products and programs, and invite them to join.
1. Use the Recruit Quick Link to invite others to become affiliate.
2. You can also share the promotion (swipe copy) with them. If they click any of your affiliate links and decide to register, they will become your recruit.
No. Once a customer places an order from your affiliate link, their subsequent orders are credited to you. However, since we identify existing customers by email address, if they order using an alternate email address, you will not be credited unless their device has your HTTP cookie.
Before customers order, we track affiliate links using cookies. The last affiliate link a customer clicks before placing an order determines the affiliate who gets that customer's commissions. Once that customer/affiliate relationship is established, all subsequent orders from that customer go to that affiliate.
When a visitor clicks your affiliate link, the data is stored on the visitor's device as a HTTP cookie. Subsequent visits recognize that data, as long as the user does not remove the cookie. Since cookies are stored on devices, if the visitor uses a different device to order than the device used to click your link, the cookie will not be there, and you will not get credit.
Cookies are applied on a most-recent basis. If a visitor clicks another affiliate link after clicking yours, the cookie will be replaced with the newer affiliate's cookie. For this reason, it is beneficial for you to actively promote GSG using your affiliate link, to increase the likelihood that your affiliate link will be used for a purchase.
The cookie is used until an order is placed. Once an order is placed, the customer is permanently tied to the affiliate based on email address. If the tied customer places an order as a guest using a different email address, the affiliate will not get credit, unless their cookie is present.
When a visitor places an order, the cookie is no longer used. Instead, the customer's subsequent orders are credited to your affiliate account, based on email address, regardless of the device used. Even if they place an order as a guest, their order is credited to you if they use the same email address used when they initially ordered through your link.
Tier 1: Commissions for orders from customers you referred to our site.

The GSG Affiliate program features a two-tier commission structure.

All affiliates can earn tier 1 commissions. Only affiliates who've recruited other affiliates can earn tier 2 commissions. An affiliate cannot earn Tier 1 and Tier 2 commissions for the same referral; they earn either Tier 1 (for customers they referred to GSG), or Tier 2 (for commissions their recruits earned).

Result: All three affiliates earn tier 1 commissions on their own referrals. Affiliate A earns tier 2 commissions on referrals made by Affiliate B, because Affiliate A recruited Affiliate B.
Any affiliate can recruit other affiliates. Affiliates only earn tier 2 commissions on affiliates they directly recruited. Commissions are not passed down the series of recruits.

There is no cap on the number of affiliates you may recruit.

Keap (formerly Infusionsoft) is a behind-the-scenes portal for the GSG Affiliate Program that gives you access to tools and information for your GSG Affiliate system. It is also the software that runs the GSG Affiliate Program.
You arrive at Keap by clicking Stats & Earnings in the Affiliate Center. Since we provide resources right here in the Affiliate Center, we don't utilize all components of the Keap page.

Click Stats & Earnings in the Affiliate Center to go to Keap.
Review your earnings in your Ledger under Reports. Choose a date range and select the invoice number you wish to view.
Commissions are calculated as Item Price x Commission Rate.
If eligible coupons were used, the coupon value is subtracted from the item price before the commission is calculated.
You can add information at the end of your Affiliate link to track which ad sources perform best. This will display in your Link Tracking Stats under the "Ad" column.

Commission payouts are usually made during the second month after the month in which the commissions were earned. Payouts are only made when commission balance is at least $200. Payment dates are not specific and will vary.
The payout schedule minimizes clawbacks that are caused by refunded orders which most often occur during the first month after the order was placed.
Commissions may decrease prior to payout for several reasons.
Unlike clawbacks, corrections and adjustments are not reflected in commission history, and can be made anytime in a current or future month to maintain accuracy. Whenever possible, adjustments will be made by reducing a future commission payment, rather than requesting a return payment.

Tax Form
US-based affiliates earning over $600 in a calendar year will receive a 1099 around February.
Non-US affiliates will receive a tax form if needed.
If you earned less than $600, you will not receive a 1099 from GSG.
Affiliate Center Report
While this can be inaccurate, for reasons addressed in our Terms and FAQ, you can see a payment total in your Ledger.
Remember that commissions are not paid in the same month they are earned. So if you want to see payments for a calendar year, set the date range from November 1 – October 31.
For example, to see payments made in 2017, set the date range like this:
