I’ve Got the Magic In Me!

Do you know this song? It’s called Magic, by B.o.B.

If that doesn’t turn your bad mood around, listen to this OTHER song also called Magic, by Selena Gomez, too.

Sometimes when I’m in here on my PC working, I play Magic and bust out all my dance moves. (The ones that embarrass my kids.) Jump out of my chair and just kick it for a while. These songs are so awesome I can’t stand it.

I’ve got the magic in me. It comes from whole plant foods. They make me glow, they make me dance, they make me bust out smiling for no reason, they help me see good things even in the hard times in life. They are magical!

It’s perfect, living, expansive nutrition, delivered directly to organs, tissues, blood, and bone, with the cell walls crushed and all the micronutrients immediately available. It makes me SO HAPPY to think that my kids went to school this morning with amazing nutrition now feeding their brain so they can learn.

Enjoy. Go ahead. Nobody can see you. Dance! You’ve gotta do SOMETHING with all that energy!

  1. Hey Robyn! Thanks for the response. I do have your 12-Steps book, but just thought there might have been something else or different. I will make the granola today! Do your kids ever get tired of eating it?
Also, I don’t have any kefir grains but will look in to obtaining them. Do you only use goat milk to make yours? Is there any kind of cow milk you’d suggest using for the kefir? In California we do have raw, but it is way too expensive. By the way, since school has re-opened what do you give your kids for lunch? Sorry for all the questions! I love your 12-Steps To Whole Foods book and use it almost daily–so inspiring!

  2. Yes! And once I started drinking chocolate bliss and other superfood concoctions is when I really busted out dancing a lot! I am sometimes miffed that other people can even think food doesn’t matter or doesn’t affect their physical, emotional, mental wellbeing!
I’m rawkin’ it out with every superfood and dark leafy salad and/or smoothie I consume!

  3. Thanks so much! I was feeling a little lonely this morning as my kids went back to school this week and I guess I miss all that teenage angst during the day. Oh by the way, what super nutrition did your kids have this morning to feed their brains — as I have one that is slightly ADD (diagnosed only by mom) and would love to feed her brain well. Thanks again–I just love your blog.

    1. Hi Patti, every single darn thing in my 12 Steps program is power food. I make kefir, blended with bananas, and granola with a scoop sprouted sunflower and alfalfa seeds added. After school, green smoothies for late-afternoon homework.
