So I really wanted another shot at my green smoothie demo after my first 3-minute one. Here’s Green Smoothie 2.0, with Superfoods, part 1:

(After that, you can watch Part 2.)

  1. Loved it! My boys & I love watching your videos. They get so excited that you make green smoothies too & shop @ Costco. My 5 yo was like “Mommy she said Costco! She said Costco!” LoL

A few months ago I added half a lemon (skin&all) to our smoothies and it tasted horrible! Does anyone know what I did wrong by chance? I would like to add a lemon or lime but now i’m afraid.

  2. Great video! I just have one comment. In this video (and in one or two others) you have said that nutritional yeast and brewers yeast are the same thing. That is not exactly accurate. While they are from the same family of yeasts nutritional yeast is grown as a primary food source whereas brewers yeast is a by-product from beer production. They a both inactive but nutritional yeast tends to have a better nutritional profile and most people think it tastes better.

Thanks for all the great videos!

I just watched your 2.0 YouTube video and was confused about your comment that Nutritional Yeast is also known as Brewer’s Yeast. They are not the same thing- especially when you buy them at the Health Food Store. The one you were describing sounds like Nutritional Yeast, but I thought Brewer’s Yeast is a brewery by-product. Am I correct? If so, please change misinformation. If not, then please show me where to find correct information:)

    Thank you for reading this.
