I love all dark greens, […]

Question: Can I eat just green smoothies?

This is a serious question. I’ve been drinking green and pink smoothies for about a month, and I’m elated.   I love them.   I try to make them as healthy as possible (trying not to overdo the fruits) and put all kinds of additional things in them besides my staples of massive quantities of […]

Do we need to take enzymes when eating a completely raw meal?

I’m a little confused on this point.   If the meal is completely raw, is it correct that all the enzymes we need to digest are in the food itself, and we don’t need to take anything else?

Would love some guidance regarding buying enzymes.   My vitamin shop has dozens of bottles — what should we look for?   Can you recommend a particular brand, or else please explain which enzymes are the “right” ones, which ones aren’t?   Years ago my naturopath steered me toward Wobenzym http://www.wobenzym-usa.com/, but it appears those […]

The Healthiest Foods On Earth

One of my favorite nutrition writers is Jonny Bowden.   Hope you enjoy his corroboration of what I’ve been saying all this time, that whole foods are The Answer, not obsessively counting grams of whatever.   This is from Forbes online: The Healthiest Foods On Earth By Jonny Bowden, Ph.D., CNS, is a board-certified nutritionist […]

My son is 6mth old today.   I am not introducing solids at this point.   He isn’t ready.   I liked Robyn’s take on nursing till 18mth old and was glad to have the knowledge about babies not having the proper enzymes to digest cooked food till their canine teeth come in… which is […]
