Frankincense Oil – A Healing Story by Cristina
I poked my eye accidentally while gardening. It was so sensitive and red, tears were pouring out. I could not close my eye because even a slight pressure on the eye-ball was uncomfortable. several hours later, the condition was still the same. I love essential oils specially doTerra for its high quality and I’m pretty familiar with them. This is what I did. I wet a hand towel with cold water and put 2 drops each: Frankincense, Lavender and Geranium, on the cloth. With my eye closed, I held the towel on the eye lip and rested for 20 minutes. When I got up, the discomfort and tears were gone. I was amazed.
Frankincense Oil – A Healing Story by Tammy
Living in the sunny and enchanted state of New Mexico, I’ve gotten a LOT of exposure to sun. I also have had small cancerous moles/spots on my skin. The dermatologist usually burned them off with some chemical that left me raw, red and tender for several days.
I now put Frankincense on my moles, spots and skin tabs and usually within 2 weeks they are gone or are back to normal.
I also get the same benefit on my face from the hydration cream since it has Frankincense as an ingredient.
Frankincense Oil – A Healing Story by Kelly
At the end of last year I was having a crazy constant headache in my temple that would not go away. I went to my eye doctor to have it checked out. All looked clear but he had me do a peripheral vision test to be sure. Apparently I don’t have peripheral vision on the outside top corners of my eyes. At first he thought that was no big deal but he started to call me frequently telling me he was concerned and wanted me to come back in and test in a couple of months. The headache did clear up for the most part.
I didn’t think much about it, so what? I don’t have peripheral vision. I went back in and the test came back the same. Again- so what? I guess when people don’t have vision there it can be indicative of a tumor on their pituitary gland. At first I was like – yea right. Then I decided to take his intense advice and see a neurologist and get an MRI to make sure.
Then I started to freak a little bit with not knowing. I finally looked it up and found out it is rarely cancer so that calmed me down quite a bit. Still a tumor on the pituitary gland is no joke.
I had some time before I could be seen by a neurologist so I started to look into essential oils to see what my options were, still not knowing if I really did have a tumor. I talked to one of Green Smoothie Girls cancer research team members who is on my doTERRA team here and she said I should treat it like cancer to get rid of it and use Frankincense.
I put one drop of Frankincense on the back of my neck not knowing if I did have a tumor and not knowing how long it would take to know if it was working.
Before bed I checked my peripheral vision as I often do. No kidding, I could see everything! No lie. My husband is skeptical as always but all I know is that before I could not see and now I can. Wahoo!! I have used Frankincense daily from then on.
If I ever have eye strain I just put a drop on my temples and it clears up.

One of my friends was in a car accident last fall and had vertigo and headaches for several months. I gave her a sample of Frankincense Oil and then she ordered some for herself. She said it really helped her balance and ability to think clearly after the accident.

Frankincense Oil – A Healing Story by Brandi
A friend is in Tae kwan do and they were working on a routine for about 10 minutes when they decided to change it up a little. She doesn’t remember much after that, since she got hit in the head and went down. Her symptoms afterwards were consistent with a mild concussion, her head throbbed (of course) and she had brain fog.
She decided to take some Frankincense Oil (orally) which provided almost instant relief. At one point she’d even forgotten she’d had a headache so she didn’t have her oil with her as she was out running errands. At this point she realized how much the oil had been helping when she felt her symptoms returning but, once able to take more, she felt much better.
She was thankful to have the oil on hand and for close friends and family who had more when she ran out. She’s learned the benefits of keeping a good supply of Frankincense Oil.
Helichrysum Oil – A Healing Story by Brandi
My 8 year-old daughter decided to jump up on the counter while the upper cabinet door was open and sliced her head open. Of course, head wounds often bleed a LOT and hers was no exception. We quickly cleaned it with Frankincense Oil and then applied one drop of Helichrysum Oil….it STOPPED bleeding in less than 2 minutes! This is definitely the oil to have on hand at all times!

As a holistic nutritionist, I have seen Frankincense help with pituitary issues like a benign tumor-and I use it to support brain oxygenation. Anytime there’s any concern with how the brain is functioning, Frankincense is my go-to oil. (Along with proper and focused nutrition.:) )
Frankincense Oil – A Healing Story by Andrea
When my boyfriend and I saw the Portlandia episode that repeated over and over again, “Put a Bird on it,” he was dying laughing saying that is the way I am about Frankincense. I didn’t realize how often I say, just put some frankincense on it! Frankincense is the go-to oil that I have used for meditation, colds and flu, aches and pains, broken bones, crabby moods, and bruises.
It is one of my favorites and I take it with me camping, hiking, and kayaking (just in case).
