Allison is a native of Mesa, AZ and is the youngest child in her large family. Allison recently finished her Masters Degree in Nutrition: Dietetics. She also has undergraduate and master’s degrees in Fitness & Wellness from BYU and Nutrition from ASU.

Allison’s passion for nutrition and alternative health care began when she was young. At age 13, she was diagnosed with a brain stem tumor. Part of the tumor was inoperable due to the location. Knowing the potential side effects of radiation in such a critical area of the body, Allison and her mother began looking at alternatives. They were introduced to essential oils. In their research they learned that Frankincense oil is high in sesquiterpenes, and studies have shown it to be a very powerful anti-tumoral oil.

Allison began using essential oils and eating a whole foods, plant-based diet. Over time her tumor started to encapsulate, pull away from the brain stem, and shrink. Going through this experience cultivated a passion for eating plant based whole foods and essential oils. She has seen the power of nutrition and essential oils in her life, and she is excited to be a Green Smoothie Girl health coach and share this message with others!
