Here’s a recipe from Madeline, near Chicago, where it actually gets COLD.

Winter Warmer 15-Bean Veggie Soup

1 20-oz. pkg. “15 Bean Soup”  (throw away the “seasoning packet”, very toxic!)

Soak beans overnight according to package directions.

The next morning, drain the water. Then rinse beans well twice (eliminates much of the gas).

In a cooking pot:

Beans + 2 quarts of filtered water

Bring beans to a boil, and simmer, uncovered for 2 hours.

Add these sliced veggies and simmer for another hour, uncovered

1 large onion

3-4 cloves garlic, sliced or grated

1 stalk celery

2 carrots

purple cabbage

Try purple cabbage for more antioxidants.

broccoli stalks (save the flowery heads to steam for another meal)

1 small potato (or sweet potato) cubed

1/2 head cabbage (purple has more anti-oxidants)

1/4 head of cauliflower, cut in small flowerets (or use the core, and save the flowerets for later)

diced tomatoes–1 can or jar

Seasonings:

3 T.  chopped parsley

2 or more t. oregano

1/2 t. Himalayan sea salt

1 t. pepper

I would be extremely careful when adding any aromatic oils to my food or drink! This can cause digestive issues to some and may have an allergic reacts in others. Where are the herbs for these oils coming from is another question? What country? What type of organic certification is being used to be sure of what you are receiving in these items? Have not seen any science behind the use of these in one’s foods. Please enjoy the herbs not the oils in your foods for safety sake for many.

Yes, most brands of essential oils are not approved for internal use. doTERRA’s are, and that’s what the GSG coaches have taught over 7,000 users of the products now. Only Certified, Pure, Therapeutic Grade oils approved for internal use.

        Hello Robyn,
I had done some research last year on this company and their products. I was unsuccessful in finding the exact ration of internal use and which countries the ingredients were extracted from for each. I had communicated with a woman that said she was a company representative but she said it was a foreign source but ‘top grade’ product.
Thus my concerns when these were added at a demonstration I volunteered at in Tulsa a few months back.
Who has approved these oils for internal consumption at a high volume is my one of my questions.
Thank you for your quick reply.
