Heart Surgeon Tells Us Why “Low-Fat” is Deadly

Dwight LundellThis heart surgeon tells the truth. Statin drugs and a low-fat diet won’t protect you from heart disease. They HAVEN’T protected us from it, for 30 years. Dr. Dwight Lundell, M.D. talks about the damage to every cell from eating omega-6 rich vegetable oils, especially while our omega-3 is so low. He explains that “polyunsaturated” fats aren’t healthy, as one industry wants us to believe.

He talks about exactly what happens in the body when you eat a fatty, sugary treat.

He talks about what happens when excess sugars, and excess bad fats, are eaten like the majority of Americans are doing. Chronic inflammation irritating the cells is at the root of all disease.

In the GreenSmoothieGirl Detox, you’re healing inflamed cells, and shifting the potassium-sodium balance to release trapped fluids in those inflamed cells.

He says, “There is but one answer to quieting inflammation, and that is returning to foods closer to their natural state.”

This article is a must-read. The 26-day Detox I’ve designed is a GAME CHANGER. The reason you feel so amazing when you’re done is that you’ve reduced inflammation in the body to a level you may not have seen for many years, if ever.

While you may have missed our August detox where we all did it together, you will have a chance to do it again Jan. 5 with GSG readers and some other groups. However, you don’t have to wait until then, you can do it ANY TIME! May I once again highly recommend you do it WITH A BUDDY, and that you do it with FULL SUPPORT? Keys to success!

    Robyn,
I have been planning to do the Arise and Shine cleanse from Richard Anderson that you have recommended elsewhere in your blog. How is your program different from his?

Casey, no one I’ve ever referred to the A&S cleanse has been able to finish it. I did it 3x in 12 years. But I had other friends get seriously anemic or just couldn’t handle the hunger (21 days of not eating food). Mine leverages the work of Dr. Anderson, but more heavily draws on Drs. Gerson and Wigmore’s research. It’s more sustainable and does more than colon/GI cleansing.

Great! Thanks so much for the reply. I think I will plan to join your cleanse on January 5th.
