This is my 2 1/2-year old daughter, Siena, enjoying a kale, blueberry, banana & flaxseed smoothie. I started making green smoothies when she was 15 months. I have also been on 90% plant-based diet since January of this year. We have a family history of just about every chronic disease imaginable–my dad had a quintuple bypass at age 45– and I’m so grateful to have discovered such an easy and delicious way to help us stay healthy.
