I’m doing Q&A on video now

We decided to start answering more questions on video rather than just in writing, on this blog. I’m sorry that there’s just no darn way I can get to all of them. But feel free to send your questions to support123@greensmoothiegirl.com, and Jenni and Jackie will tell me what you want to know. I’ll do as many as I can!

These are a couple of questions that folks in Denver sent us:

(1) Can I bring my child to your class? And

(2) Do you like your job? What’s the best and worst part about being GreenSmoothieGirl?

  1. This is a great idea! Could you just fix the audio so I don’t have to grab my headphones every time to be able to listen? My laptop speakers are turned all the way up and I can’t hear a thing. Then when I do get the headphones it sounds like you’re standing next to a river as I listen to you. Maybe a clip on mic? Thanks! Just don’t want to miss a thing!

    1. Shellie, ahhhhhh……that is the downside of doing ad-hoc, on-location videos like this. I insisted on the beautiful background outside our hotel…..then we moved to other locations. (In a couple days I’ll post a video I did inside a Whole Foods Market that has a lot of ambient noise in it, too, SO SORRY! We’re all spoiled from watching things that are filmed in studios!) But we do have a clip-on mic, maybe that would help, I’ll ask Kristin…..

  2. Can you talk a little more about kefir? If dairy is bad for you (China Study) how much kefir is safe in my green smoothies? I am able to get raw goat’s milk from a farmer.

Robyn, I asked this on another blog entry without your reply (understably so, you get too many questions) but hopefully it will be one you can try to answer with your video: How do green smoothies, in general, help decrease back pain in people? It seems to make sense that it helps reduce inflammation in joints but a back has no joints…?

    1. Kyung, I don’t promise that green smoothies do anything specifically. But a whole foods lifestyle (GS is just a great first step), and getting away from a protein-overdosing + processed-food diet, creates a more alkaline, pH-balanced, climate where the body isn’t fighting mycotoxins and bacteria and viruses and inflammation, and it can use its energy for rebuilding and repairing.

  4. I really appreciate your answer, Robyn and I’m aware that anything you (or anyone else) says isn’t meant to be taken as a promise. I just wanted to get an idea of the possible reasons behind it as I sometimes read of people’s testimonies of their back pain dissapearing after starting green smoothies (and probably other whole foods too).
