from Robyn: it’s very high in iron, high in B vitamins, it has limited uses but I like it nutritionally. A good source of minerals. I use it in granola.
I often put it in my smoothies. Many years ago I heard a woman’s health speaker say that a good drink for women was an apple, a few almonds, flax seed and a tablespoon of molasses blended together (I can’t remember if there was something else). It took a little while to get use to the molasses taste but I enjoy it and it helps with anemia.
