Why soft drinks stink, and what happens when you drink green smoothies.

Here’s part 2 of the interview I did with Leslie Smoot. It’s a little about my program, why the first step of my 12 Steps is to quit drinking soda and start drinking greens. And what happens when you do, according to my study of 175 people who did that!

    Couldn’t hear it Robyn…just me?

  2. Although I have been following you for a couple of years now, it wasn’t until recently that I began incorporating the Hot Pink Smoothie into my diet. Wow…my kids prefer it over the green smoothies now. I am wondering if we were drinking so much green smoothies that our bodies were craving something different. I am not the best at providing a variety of greens…as I tend to stick with spinach, kale and collards….but mostly kale. I still toss a handful of greens into the hot pink smoothie, but not enough where it changes the color.

Your program has really helped me listen to my body and feed it what it craves. Of course there are times when I have unhealthy cravings, but now I am more aware of how my body will feel after giving in (or not) to an unhealthy food choice. Now instead of a huge splurge on a dessert, I will share with others or just have a small sweet.

Thanks again for all your hard work and most of all for sharing your knowledge with all of us!

    Laura

Hi Laura, glad you love Hot Pink like I do. I keep waiting to get sick of it, but after about 8 years now, I still love it virtually every morning! I’m glad you’re listening to your body, too–it takes many of us decades to tune into that. I myself am learning, too, that negative consequences aren’t worth it (sometimes we make a poor decision hundreds of times before we really “GET IT”).
