Confession, my score on your nutrition quiz 12!!
I ordered the 12 step program and while I waited for it to get here (my family recently moved to Germany but my home is Utah county I can’t believe I didn’t find you sooner) we signed up for the free 3 day trial over at the smoothie queen’s web site. I just couldn’t wait to get started. Once my 12 step came I dove right in!
I’m a young married mom with 4 kids. My two oldest daughters are 9 and 10 years old and both over 110 lbs their BMI’s 98% and myself over weight (BMI 30%). At age 27 my body is starting to feel like I’m 50 with chronic pain and headaches. I have a 4 year old son who was born premie and suffers from asthma which has admitted him to the hospital twice before his 2nd birthday and he has daily breathing treatments.
For the sake of my daughters and my family finding your website (through a friend on Facebook) has been the answer to my prayers for help. I am sick of dieting and my kids needed a healthy home but I wasn’t sure how to make it yummy..until green smoothies
My husband who is in the Air Force is my rock and supporter. We as a family have started this 12 step adventure. I know in a year [or sooner] that I’ll be writing you our transformation story and thanking you for being that teacher who showed up in when I needed it most.
I have a blog http://www.sixpackbrady.blogspot.com and these green smoothies are the center of it lately. My son is a poster child for green smoothies! He is obsessed with them. This is awesome concidering this child won’t even touch lettuce in a salad.
Thankyou for what your doing and what you’ve done. I can’t explain how awesome this really is.
Mindy…..let’s go from 12 to 92 in a year…..I will be so excited to get that followup email from you and share it with others! So happy to hear from you–keep putting one foot in front of the other on this journey. You will never be sorry.

I have entered the GreenSmoothieGirl Makeover and would be so excited if I won…hint, hint, hehehe. I was wondering if you had an idea when the winners will be announced? I absolutely love your website and have just started adding greens to my smoothies, but I really need a super blender to add anything tougher than spinach. Thanks for all you do.
