Canadians–limited time only, get raw almonds
I have a limited quantity remaining of RAW, UNPASTEURIZED almonds. I will announce this to all the Canadians on my newsletter list, in a few days. But meantime, because I like to give a head start to my blog readers…..
….if you’re in the U.S. OR CANADA, you can get some here until we run out (to satisfy California law, you must put the name in of the buyer of each 100 lbs. if you’re ordering a larger quantity):
Go here to purchase almonds.
Hi Robyn: I would like to purchase almonds but do not have a proper dehydrator to dry them after they have been soaked. Can I freeze them upon arrival at my home and when I am ready to eat them, pull a small quantity out of the freezer and then soak them? Debbie
Debbie, YES, I recommend exactly that.
Robyn, a coconut oil question: I buy a Jar of expeller pressed. I don’t use it that quickly… But it says best refrigerated after opening. I like keeping it in my pantry , how long does it last after opened & unrefrigerated? Or need I just refrigerate it?!
Well, coconut oil is highly stable and will last a few years on the shelf at room temp if it was fresh when you bought it.
Hello Robyn
To be clear do I need to order a minimum of 50 lbs or 100lbs. Also at the time of ordering are there other items that might be available like any other of the raw nuts, dates and salad dressings?
Min. of 50 lbs. You can’t get the other items except I am getting Chris to put the limited quantity of coconut oil and agave we have left over from the group buy, in the “Whole Foods” section of the store. Oh, and a case of toothpaste (no fluoride, sugar, etc.)
