Thanks for coming in Ogden. Two new classes in Orem and Springville

The photos didn’t turn out that well, but that doesn’t diminish that we had a great class in Ogden last night. Thank you everyone for coming! See volunteer Justin in the photo below, who told us he has lost 42 lbs. doing NO exercise and just drinking green smoothies (instead of his former staple, caffeine-intense Rockstar energy drink) as my book outlines.

He says he’ll never go back and feels a million times better. He’s writing his story up and I’ll post it here later.

The Springville class on Aug. 4 is FULL. Therefore, I thought the Ogden/Springville classes would be the last of the summer, but we are adding two more.

Another class the following week, Aug. 11, in Springville, same time same place, 7 p.m.

And, I’ll be teaching at Runner’s Corner on Thurs., Aug. 5, in Orem, at 8 p.m. (kind of a strange time, but the next morning there’s no school).

  1. I’m looking for anyone that is a triathlete that is doing green smoothies?

    I live in Florida and would love to hear some testimonials…I myself feel so much better since I started doing these smoothies…it’s been a little over a month now and so glad I started doing it!

  2. Hm, I have taught classes twice at PowerTri to triathletes, and will do so again at Runner’s Corner on Aug. 5. Too bad you’re not in Utah–there are tons of serious distance runners and athletes on the green smoothie wagon!

  3. Did Justin eat anything besides green smoothies or did he just replace that energy drink with green smoothies? Did he eat anything else, in other words?

    I am new to this site and just signed up for the class on Aug.5th at Runners Corner,I was wondering if your books are going to be for sale at that class or if you only have them for sale on this site only?I’m excited to start making green smoothies!

  5. That’s great to hear…I hope to get some more of my friends and tri buddies on these smoothies…I am having so much fun making them and reaping the benefits so it doesn’t get any better then that…

    After a hard workout I make a great recovery drink and just add some brown rice protein to the mix…

    I would start a blog to find out what drinks athletes are making like right before a workout, etc

  6. Thanks for the awesome class. I have read & knew all the info you shared with us, BUT, I wanted my 4 youngest (17, 15, 9 & 7) to hear this awesome info from someone besides Mom. My oldest daughter will drink it when I make it (she lives out of town.) Biggest reward is when your chicks leave the nest and practice these lifestyle choices.

    For some reason it helps validate good ole MOM. My kids enjoyed it and are drinking the smoothies easier with even more greens in it because of all the benefits you shared with them. If they complain I say go ahead and plug your nose and chug baby chug, and they do! GO GARDENS!!!

    I sat next to Justin and his wife. He said that for 4 months he drank a qt for breakfast and another qt for lunch. Then I believe just a modest dinner. He also said that he didn’t exercise during those 4 months, that was about a year ago. He said he never got off step one “green smoothies” and had a 42 lb loss in 4 months. He does appear to have added in exercise since he is feeling awesome with his new lifestyle. He likes to put nearly the whole kitchen sink in (variety of greens, fruits, flax, almonds, etc). His wife and kids prefer it a little less concentrated and family friendly. {I hope I am remembering all this correctly}

    I didn’t visit with him after he talked to Robyn to see what else he learned.

    Thanks also to the owner of the Dragonfly Cafe, it is lovely place.

    I am signed up for the August 4th class, I have 4 people that want to come with me that aren’t signed up. Can they come or do they need to have a reservation?

    1. Linda, it’s going to be crowded. You can bring them if you want, but you might want to come a bit early to get a seat, and lots better if you can come Thursday night in Orem instead. 🙂 Either way, see you soon.

    1. Hi Ann! Jess here, Blog Manager for GSG. I just asked Robyn if a place like that exists and she said Roxberry will do that. They have even delivered quarts of green smoothie and green juice to her home. Here is a link to their Orem store with contact info.
