Congratulations to Jenni, head of my customer support, who is having her third baby today! She is a GSG reader I met at Costco once: I was impressed to see her daughter sporting a GS mustache. Hope all goes well, Jenni!
Hey Robyn,
This is my only 2nd comment to you but I have been reading your blogs and watching your YouTube videos for several months now. You turned me on to Green Smoothies in January and I want to thank you for making eating healthy so easy…and yummy!
I’m glad to see you’ll be visiting NOVA in August. I’m in Maryland but I’ll make the trip down.
There are quite a few Whole Foods in that area, I called a few and the one in Alexandria, VA is able to hold 76 people.
I was unable to get ahold of any marketing directors for the other locations but I’ll try again tomorrow.
Which location would be most convienent for you?
Looking forward to meeting you,
Amy
The closer to SPRINGFIELD or FAIRFAX the better, because that’s where I’ll be staying. Thanks for checking, Amy. I think most stores have a “Whole Foods Living Specialist” or something like that. The one in Dallas who hosted my class last month, Suzan Mackey, would be happy to talk to their director. She was ecstatic that the green smoothie show brought in a bigger crowd than any event she had done in 9 years. And they didn’t even get a flier approved until 2 days before, so the whole crowd (except 2 people) was GSG readers.
A 76-person room would be great.
Oh I hope that you do another free class somewhere along the Wasatch Front. I can’t believe I can’t go to another one of your classes (it’s my sons HS graduation)!! He has brain cancer and I am trying to change our bad eating habits!
Hi there,
I am new to this Green Smoothie thing, but I am super excited about it. I’m buying your 12-step program today.
I am 28 weeks pregnant. So, I will have JUST had a baby by August 20th.
I live in MD, but the drive isn’t too bad. How can I know for sure when and where a class in Northern Virginia will be hosted? And how can I ensure a spot for myself and my husband? Also, will it be alright to bring an infant? Sorry to have so many questions!
Thanks for your time!
Sharon, infants always welcome, and just make yourself a fan of the GreenSmoothieGirl fanpage on facebook, or watch this blog–I always post my classes there. From now on, I will have a registration page so you can ensure a spot. Congrats on getting on top of nutrition so early–that is PERFECT! Read the section in the Intro of 12 Steps about parenting and nutrition.
I don’t live in NYC, but when my husband and I visited in April the store that made it so I could eat while there – we were on a budget and eating out was not working – was the Whole Foods Market at Columbus Circle, they’re the bottom floor of the mall there (It’s called The Time Warner Center). They are awesome and it might be a place to look into as it’s downtown Manhattan and easy to get to – right off the subway and across Central Park.

Thank you sooo much for making the Lehi GSG demo available by webinar. I was excited to be able to watch it from Houston, TX. I started Green Smoothies in January and am amazed at the number of people who have asked me to share it with them. Numerous families in my ward (congregation) are now drinking them daily. I received a phone call yesterday from a mom whose daughter has been in the hospital for 5 days. The doctors want to put her daughter on several more drugs (which are the cause of her being there in the first place – steroids have suppresed her immune system). She told them “No More Drugs! I’m going to treat her with diet.”
I have been asked to teach a class for our church women’s group on June 10. Today a lady came up to me and said she wanted to get a head start and asked me for the recipe. (She is going to check out your site to buy a blender.) Is it possible to re-view the seminar in preparation for the class?
Faith, I honestly don’t know because PowerTri recorded and broadcasted that class I did a couple weeks ago. Write jamie@powertri.com? Love that you’re sharing with others!
I would love to attend the orem workshop at the Herb Shop!
Hi
I’ve been enjoying your YouTube videos for a few
months now. I noticed that you teach some classes, are you ever in So. Calif.?Also, my children and I are Celiac and cannot eat oats, do you have a recipe for granola using other ingredients?
Thanks,
Carrie
Hey Carrie, watch my blog / facebook page where I always announce classes. No plans for So Cal, though I have been there before and hope to be again, soon! You can certainly substitute gluten-free grains but my granola recipes do have oats.
Tom and Jandora Jenkins will attend your Orem class on Thursday
night. My friend, Charlotte Moore, will also be attending the class.
Tom and I have been doing your 12 step program for a month now
and love the changes. I am having my friend Charlotte come to
learn more about what you do.
Thanks,
Jandora Jenkins
Yes, I’d like to come to your class tonight and bring a friend. Thanks!
I is interesting to see that people are starting to see the healing and the great nutritional value of the Greej Drink..That was a part of my morning food for some of my children over 40 years ago.
It has been the family joke for so many years, that Mom raised them on Green Drink, Now the joke seems to be on them. Other people and even health Doctors are quoting health features.
One great advantage I disdovered….those who drank their green drink faithfully did not have to have braces on their teeth as some of the older children needed. They had drunk plenty of raw milk and organic garden food but the green drink brought better bone and teeth structure.
I used to live in Northern Virginia and would like to invite several friends to the demo on August 20. Is it still a go? If so where and when?
BTW, the Green Smoothie demo I gave a couple months ago was a great success. I had 35 attend, and I keep hearing good things about increased energy and health. They have shared with literally hundreds of their friends and relatives. Thanks so much for giving me something so wonderful to share.
Hugs, Faith
Hey Faith, I was thinking of going, that weekend, to No. VA since it’s my high school reunion. But the organizer said only 35 people are RSVP’d and I checked with all my old friends and none are going. So I’ll be there SOMETIME but not Aug. 21, sorry!
