By the way, 12 Steps to Whole Foods went up in price $10 recently (it also, however, is fully indexed and beautifully formatted with a handful more photos). As we have much more cost in it, the price will be going up again soon. So if you can live with the digital version, get it now if you’ve been meaning to and don’t want to find out later the price went up again.
That said, if you want to wait, we’ll soon have a manual-only physical course–in addition to the whole kit-and-caboodle (DVDs/CDs etc.).
I don’t mean to brag (and it’s desigers/editors who get credit anyway), but 12 Steps is so pretty now I can’t even stand it.
Did I learn about Vitamineral Green on this blog? I think I did but I can’t find the post about it.

I just wanted to let you all know that I have not started to do green smoothies on a regular basis, just a few times a week to start but I started out 2 months ago by using vitamineral green and for the past 15 years my menstral cycle has been very regular- 28 days and lasts for 5 days but the last 2 months on vm green my cycle is still regular but now lasts 3 days, not sure why but I am not complaining!!:)

I have been drinking green smoothies for about 3 weeks now. I have a lot more energy and mental clarity. I have also noticed that I have lost some weight and I don’t feel as bloated as I have been… I love them.. I have not missed a day yet!!!!!
What got me to your site was the Blendtec Blender I purchased. I have been making them for my family as well. My husband is very picky. He does not like green veggies or avocado. Guess what is in his green smoothie. I am trying to get his system normal so he can get off the Nexium. He told me if I make them up he will drink them. So far he has been true to his word. He is looking in fridge to find the mix. My daughter gave her 13 month old a taste and she screamed for more literally.
We also are making your granola and putting our own spin on it. My dad who does not like anything healthy loves it. I am in the process of deciding on a dehydrator.
I love the recipes, trying more of them everyday. I tell everybody that is willing to listen.
I also have been using the coconut oil and my skin is so much better.
Keep up the good work. We are getting educated everyday…
Hi I just found out about your web site I bought the blendtec blender at costco and they gave me your info. I would like to get some of your books but I’m wondering if the 12 step program is a book or is it downloaded on to my computer? and if you order it do you send the other books to my home or do you download them as well? I couldn’t find any other way to contact you on the web site is there a phone number or e-mail address or is this the way I ask questions I’m really excited to try this.

Robyn’s 12 Steps digital book is so excellent. I have a few books about raw food, whole foods, green smoothies, but it wasn’t until Robyn’s book The Green Smoothie Diet that I felt I could try the smoothie thing out … at least for 30 days. I purchased my first turbo blender (not blendtec) and set out to make the smoothie for my husband and myself. My hubby took to them immediately, which shocked me so I almost had a heart attack. He hasn’t even asked if our 30 days is up yet. I’m not good about chewing all the veggies in a salad type way, but i sure can drink just about anything as long as there is fruit in it. I mean when was the last time I ate 1/2 of a raw beat … ahem! NEVER!!! until Green Smoothie that is and Robyn’s recipes. How fabulous! I’m working thru 12 Steps very slowly, but I did skip ahead and learned how to make sprouts. I make about 4 cups a week now, and of course they go in smoothie, soup, stew, chili, sandwiches, even as a primary green in the event i do have a salad! Thanks again Robyn for making this do-able and please keep teaching us.

Over the years, I have learned a lot of good information about nutrition, but I have never been able to follow through with what I know. So many nutrition gurus make it sound like you need to go to extremes to be healthy, and it’s very difficult to follow these programs and still participate in social events. Robyn insists on good nutrition, but she is not extreme. The Twelve Steps to Whole Foods program is something I can do, with my children! Robyn makes fantastic nutrition available to everyone including single/working moms and families with low budgets.
The program is set up to work at your own pace. If you are overwhelmed, you can go slowly and introduce one step per month. If you are ready to make big changes, you can do everything at once.
Robyn’s recipes taste good! She includes many recipes that reluctant children and adults will enjoy.
I tell people about Robyn’s green smoothies all the time. If someone is ready to make changes in their diet, I tell them about the Twelve Steps to Whole Foods Program. This is a program that I can recommend without worry – it is not extreme, and it is do-able!

I have a question for the long timers with green smoothies. A quart of smoothie should be consumed in how much time? I can not find info on how long. Should the smoothie last through breakfast (7:30 am) into almost lunch (11am) each one of the quick lunches then start the smoothies again around (4pm) into dinner? I do not or I have missed this information in the 123 steps of the book.

You have asked for testimonies for the green smoothie idea–I am wavying my hand wildy to share. I am 43 and consider myself to be a healthy eater–make homemade ww bread grinding the wheat berries, jucing, smoothie’s every morning (they weren’t green smoothie’s—BIG difference) etc. I have pursued this healthy lifestyle for many yeasrs and have 7 dc. BUT it wasn’t until I stumbled across Green Smoothie Girl that all my health knowledge fell into place for me. I have prayed for years to find “the right way to eat”. As you know there are many camps in this healthy search and I was so frustrated.with nothing quite working and still not feeling like I was achieving optimal health. I think you have been and anwer to prayer as I have sought God’s guidance in this whole issue.
Since drinking my green smoothie everyday for over a month I can’t believe the change in my energy level, not getting sick as easy, able to work out longer, and lost 5 #’s so far and still losing, craving healthy foods, feeling content nutrtionally–not feeling the need to snack on junk food etc. I crave my green smoothie every morning and even took my blender with us on vacation so we could have our smoothies. My 8 dd said, “Mommy, please don’t stop making these green smoothie’s–from the mouth’s of babes.:)
My 16 ds who tolerants my “healthy eating habits” fights for his green smoothie in the mornings.
I make enough to have 2 cups extra for my afternoon snack. Can’t get enough of this “good thing”.
