bottled water vs. tap water
If you read Ch. 10 and Ch. 12 of 12 Steps to Whole Foods, you may already be familiar with my opinions about water. (Drink lots of it. Especially first thing in the morning. Coffee/tea/soft drinks don’t count. Reverse osmosis filtered, ionized alkaline water is best.)
Check out this story today about a very important health-related reason we shouldn’t drink bottled water, beyond the fact that Americans are sending a non-biodegradable 1.2 million of them to landfills every day:

We’ve just recently changed from bottled water to filtered tap water. We’re lucky in that water is not fluoridated in our area, otherwise I would not be drinking tap water!
The EPA doesn’t seem to say much about fluoridation!
This article “only implies” something “bad” we don’t know about bottled spring water. It says nothing. It is just a spin for whatever the agenda is against bottled water. What do we know. We know
that bottled spring water doesn’t have added chlorine, fluoride, and we know it is NOT recycled toilet water with traces of other peoples
drugs . You can google all of this and find out what is in a lot of tap water. You can go to the international bottled water site and see the testing for various bottled spring water. As for the filtered water, how do you know that it really cleans up the tap water. Have you ever filtered some of your water and then had it tested? Or do you just believe it because someone says so? I recycle every plastic bottle, glass bottle etc. So mine do not go in the land fill, and besides the recyling must create jobs.
This article is just trying to turn you away from bottled water. Why? I do not know. But we are talking about our health here.
I actually saw that article on yahoo! Too bad they don’t know about the pH of bottled water! And also, just getting back from Utah I can say that the tap water there taste a trillion times better than the water does here in San Antonio! But at least I’m back to my ionized water now, so hurray for that!
