Wasatch Front group buys
Locals only: please email me (robyn@greensmoothiegirl.com) if you want to be on my group buy email list and you’re not already on it. Today I’ve just sent out an email with a group buy on RAW ALMONDS (took me months to figure out a plan to get raw almonds since the CA mandatory pasteurization law went into effect 9/1/07) and RAW/ORGANIC AGAVE.
These are important items for food storage if that’s a priority for you, and having raw almonds on hand is really helpful if you’re in my 12 Steps to Whole Foods program. Almonds won’t germinate and become phenomenal nutritional powerhouses unless they are RAW. Pickup is at my home, so this buy is for locals only (willing to drive to Lindon, Utah). Thanks,
Robyn
Robyn, I get my raw almonds from http://www.organicpastures.com, so that might be another source for you.
I have a question about green powdered stevia. How much should I add for a full 9 cups of green smoothie?
I’ve never heard of *green* stevia! For powdered stevia, I use about 1/2 tsp. for a full 9 cup blenderful of green smoothie. But whatever you like!
Robyn,
I think the green powdered stevia is just the actual herbal leaves ground up.
If anyone has trouble getting to 100# of almonds or a full case of the others, please let me know! I haven’t had much response, and I can’t do 100# of almonds myself

What a great idea–I will have to find that product. Less processed is always good!
If someone wants a 1/3 or 1/2 share of almonds, just email me and I’ll point you towards others who have asked the same. (I’ve already had three ask me that, but I put them together. I’m sure I’ll have more.)
Green stevia is actually really kind of gross, though. It’s not nearly as sweet as the white powder or liquid, and it tastes herby (if there is such a word.)
Molly,
Thanks for the heads up
I saw green stevia at Good Earth last night and waffled back and forth before deciding not to try it. I figure I’ll just stay with agave nectar for now
